Chosen Solution Hi i wonderd if it is possible to change the backlight to a macbook core 2 duo, do i have to change the entire LCD panel Yes it’s possible to replace the backlight unit if the lamp is blown. A good advice is to buy a cheap cracked LCD panel on ebay (make sure with the seller that the lamp is still working) and swap the two backlights. Not very difficult to do but you have to be meticulous when installing the backlight assy cause you could end up with a non even lightning on the screen....

Chosen Solution The MacBook doesn’t work when I press the power button, but when I unplug the battery and plug in the charger it turns on. So I think the power button is damaged. Can anyone tell me where I can get a power button and how to change it? The power button is part of the keyboard so you must replace the whole keyboard. A replacement keyboard for your MacBook Pro is easy to find on many places on the web just search for “A1278 US 2010 replacement keyboard”, you should pay $30 for a new one....

Chosen Solution I recently bought an older powermac g5 2.0 DP. Cleaned it, checked if it worked, it did. I put in new ram (4GB DDR1) And then nothing. When i press the power button the white led does not stay on (And no blinking) No video, nothing. Putted the old ram back in, same problem. However i do get two sighs from the fans, and they ramp up to max after approx 10 ~ 15 mins....

Chosen Solution I installed the glowing iphone speaker mode into my samsung and it made it smoke somehow! I then put it back into my iphone and now the backlight won’t turn on! Can still see apps with a torch. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX IT? did you connect the screen with the battery connected if so then the chances are its the backlight filter has blown

Chosen Solution I was using my iPod everyday and it was workin fine then i lost my iPod charger and the iPod died so I let it set for a couple of months then i finally got a charger for it and I plugged it in and it came on and shut right back off and it will not come on or hold a charge at all what is wrong with it battery problems maybe?...

I have done the hard restart with no luck…help @clinton65 sounds like your computer cannot find an OS. You need a bootable disk so that your computer can start. Try to download an executable Live version of one of the many Linux distros. I use Puppy Linux whenever I try to recover data from HDD....

But whether it is plugged in or not, when i push the power button, the blue light comes on for about five to ten seconds and then shuts off. No screen activity. And you can hear it shut off. This week when I tried to use it for a different event, it turned itself off, and flashed two LEDs on the top, and would not turn on again until it was disconnected from the power supply and re-connected. Chosen Solution Yesterday I dropped my laptop, which then show nothing to the screen but worked fine on external monitor. I tried the trouble shooting steps provided by HP on Youtube (https://youtu.be/sj6kYmT7GLs) but it didn’t help. Chosen Solution Where can I purchase a barista pump? The pump for this machine is actually very standard, it’s an ULKA EX5 and can be purchased here along with many other Barista parts. I have this same model, also with a bad pump. The pump is not a standard replacement part. I called 1-800-STARBUC in the US and they replaced my unit even though it was a gift, I had no receipt, and it was out of warranty....

Chosen Solution I need some help identifying what wires are what so I can repair my Turtle Beach Elite Pro headset (jack replacement). I have emailed the manufacturer who say they cant help. There are 3 wires when you strip back the cover, each wrapped in another wire (i will include pictures). I presume you have the old jack which you’ve chopped off. The easiest way is to use a multimeter to test which colour wires go to which contacts on the jack plug....
