Chosen Solution So I have a bit of a weird one. The ipad came to me as broken because the power button wasnt working. Upon testing it I found the power button was indeed faulty however the volume up and down buttons are all working fine despite them being on the same flex cable. I decided to go and open the ipad up to check whether the cable was torn or damaged however when I go to turn it off it turns off but then boot loops....

Chosen Solution It gave a loud pop and I lost all radio function, the clock will intermittently flash a time but it will not turn on. Before it went out, it did pop loudly once and I had to reset all my radio stations, this has access to the Ford access tracking as well as satellite radio, CD player. None of the buttons work,all it shows is compass direction and temperature....

Chosen Solution I have a a MacBook Pro model A1261 and I just reseated the Airport card. After I had reseated it I found a grey cable with a black rubber end that had no connection point. Am I missing some connection point or is this cable for another part? Thanks I guess I can just answer my own question. My Airport card is the later one that has two antenna cables connection to it....

Chosen Solution I purchased a battery from Ifixit for my MacBook. IF161-107-3 MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Early 2011-Mid 2012) Replacement Battery / New / Fix Kit. A couple weeks into using it the battery would drain within 30 minutes. Now even though it says the battery is 100% it dies as soon as you unplug it. One thing I didn’t like is the extremely slow boot time. 50 seconds to the login screen, FileVault is off and I already tried their suggestion of selecting the start up disk in system preferences. Once logged in, everything works great, apps are snappy and responsive....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to put a different hard drive into a MacBook Unibody that a friend handed down to me (the silver one), but whenever I try and boot up the MacBook off the hard drive, I get a prohibitory symbol. The hard drive I’m using is a Crucial 2.5 inch SSD BX100. It was installed in a different MacBook (white unibody, 2009). That 2009 white MacBook is no longer working, so I thought it would be a simple matter of taking the SSD out of the white MacBook and popping it into the silver one....

Chosen Solution I have a Macbook version 10.6.7 and I think my disc drive broke. When I insert a disc it will make the normal loading sounds, then it will start rapidly beeping really loud. It eventually stops but starts again. If I want to eject the disc it will not let me until a certain point in the beeping “pattern”. It also will not recognize the disc by putting the little disc icon on the desktop screen....
