Chosen Solution I have a new iphone 4g from verizon. of course we broke the front on the second day. I did some research, and it did not appear that hard to change out the glass. I order a kit, the kit came, but apperantly apple changed the screws to a kind of star screw. Reseached that problem and got the right tool. Today I dove into the job, found the instructions not to be exact, but got it apart....
Chosen Solution hi, all. I have a note 5. I replaced the LCD on it for a customer and a few months later it turned off and didn’t turn back on. I opened the phone and it turned on everything works great but as soon as I put the screws on it doesnt turn on. any ideas why? @hamied sounds like it gets shorted out. Check all your screws to ensure they are appropriate for where they go....

I searched it up online and there was a forum that instructed me to plug it in to my PC, open up iTunes, and I did as told but my iPhone 6 is still unresponsive. Chosen Solution I have an Alcatel one touch and it froze the other day and when I took the battery out to restart it won’t come back on at all. It will freeze on either the android symbol or the tracphone wireless screen. It won’t load any further than than. Straight talk couldn’t help me when I called so maybe someone on here can help please. I have factory reset multiple times and it’s still not working....
Chosen Solution I have recently cleaned up a Xiaomi redmi note 4X. It turns on and works with whatever charge is left in the battery. I think the shown battery level is incorrect. Stays green at 40% (with green led notification) It is not charging further. When switched off the led stays green as if it was charged, never over 40%. Ampere shows is consuming battery and not charging. It showed usb cable connected, but did not recognise it again after unpluging and pluging again....
Chosen Solution hello when i plug the ower supply of 3.7 volt to the + and - terminals of the phone battery it gives me an error as if they were short , what is the problem and how to fix it ? the phone was dropped hard What gives you an error message; the phone or the power supply? If the power supply is behaving as if it were being shorted, then yes, you probably have a short on the PP_BATT_VCC or PP_VC_MAIN voltage rail on your logic board....
Chosen Solution i have an lg tv 37 that cutts off its power after 3-4 minutes….Is that a problem specific with the power supply off the unit….Or something else ????? michalismavropoulos yes that could be a PSU issue. Check it for any obvious damage like domed, leaking capacitors etc. If not, then replace the power board.
Chosen Solution Passenger side power wont roll back up LETTY PARRA , Driver side window works! So if window will not go up from either the drivers side or passenger side switch the pwr. win. motor is probably faulty on pass. side. Chosen Solution Hey everyone…. I’m curious to know if anyone as tried powering on the Galaxy S6 by shorting the two pins on the logic board. It works for computers and the like, but I’ve never tried it on a phone and wanted to get ummm…. “confidence” before trying it haha That should work. It is the exact same concept as shorting the power button header on a motherboard. Just be careful and wear ESD Safety Equipment....

But I put it away for 5-6 months, forgot to charge… Now the indicator LED is on but it seems that the device can not be charged (after 24hrs charging and the LED is still blinking). (I use a cable to test if the Braven 705 can charge my phone as a power bank or not, hm....

Anyway this model and as I understand it several other do as well has a lid hinge problem. I was wondering if you have a how to fix the hinges and ultimately I would like to replace the cheap plastic screen one with a decent on but that may not be possible or not in my budget or both....
Chosen Solution My 24inches iMac is not turning ON, I tested it with few different power cable ( OE and different makes). Nothing work, what could be the cause. Most likely a power supply failure. We need to diagnose further, to do that we need the EMC# on the bottom of the stand and the speed of your machine. UPDATE Take the LED off, then plug it in and try to power on and observe the diagnostic LEDS in the middle of the board and let us know your findings....

It is the same bracket for the iPhone 5S and the iPhone SE. You can probably find it for less from Chinese suppliers but shipping times are usually much longer. Replacing this bracket is not absolutely necessary, it’s there to retain a solid Home Button connection in case of a minor impact....

What do I check? @sjeaquarius , More info. may of helped year, engine, any previous work done recently,etc. The first thing to check is there fuel in the tank/ is the security lite on/ check fuel inertia switch {if} equipped(look in your owners manual for location). You may have to have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes as a start as many things can cause your vehicle not to start, faulty crank sensor, Ignition module, coil packs, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel pump, inertia switch if equipped, etc....
