Chosen Solution Hey, a friend droped his phone and smashed the screen to pices, but it still worked, Few days later he dropped it again, from pretty short distance and it landed on top right corner. Phone stop turning on from this time. I tried opening the phone, reconnecting all the ribbons from screen part of the phone as well as battery. Chosen Solution Yesterday my MacBook started ejecting DVDs after I inserted them into the drive. They will go in, start spinning for 30 seconds or so then are ejected. However, the optical drive is playing CDs with no problem. I have tried several film region specific DVDs and an authentic Snow Leopard DVD with no joy. My DVD lens cleaner disc will successfully launch DVD player and I can then clean the lens but still it won’t accept any other DVDs....
Chosen Solution I put new batteries in but screen only blinks on for a brief moment Update (07/30/2017) will changing LCD solve problem vicky mcdearmid this could be related to a stuck lens. Try the tricks mentioned on here and see if those will work for you. If not then you will have to dig down further and disassemble your camera and possibly replace the lens assembly.

Chosen Solution i got 2 Sony Shake 99 hifi system , both of them always have the ‘protector’ on. i tried every sony websites to try and fix the problem but to no avail … “Protector” means that the internal power surge protector has been tripped. Unplug the hifi system for 30+ minutes to reset it.

Chosen Solution I plug in the power from a wall outlet, plug it into HDMI, and I see the initial “Chromecast…” on the bottom middle of the screen for a few seconds, then that’s it. Next should be the big Chromecast icon I believe, but nothing else appears on the screen. It was in the water for about 5-10 seconds until I realized and quickly retrieved it and dried it and did the “rice in a bag” solution to try and fix my iPhone since it had stopped working and the screen was flashing and turning off etc. I kept the iPhone in the rice for about a week, until I took it out and tried charging it up (silly of me I know, may have been electrocuted)....
