I am having exactly the problem which is described in the Macbook troubleshooting article (The screen is very dark, but everything else seems to be running. If you get in close with a flashlight, you can usually see the image faintly.) So I bought a new inverter but this did not solve my problem....
Chosen Solution I dropped my MacBook Pro. It fell half a meter on the top side (it was closed). Plugged in to an external monitor works ok No light in the apple logo on the back of the display Tried to see some image on the display by using a flashlight on the apple logo in the back but couldn´t see anything. Webcam works ok I´m willing to replace the entire display assembly, but I´m unsure if there is another component that might the culprit (like the logic board or some cable)....
Chosen Solution My iMac had a checkerboard screen, AHT reported an error with the video ram. I replaced all the caps which changed nothing. I pulled the LB out and pulled the heat sink off the video chip, cleaned up all the excess thermal compound and started it up - everything was working perfectly, so I went to grab a cup of coffee (2-3Min), when I returned, there was no power....
Chosen Solution Started using our machine again . Worked fine yesterday . Added some water today & nothing when u press the start button . Opened it up & didn’t see any excess water on any of the parts … So For starters I would try it on another outlet that you know to be good (test it with another device), and if you have it on a GFCI outlet then make sure it isn’t tripping the breaker....
Chosen Solution I replaced an iPhone XS screen because it was cracked and it was ghost touching. Also replaced the battery because it wasn’t charging. The phone charges now so the battery replacement seems to be a success, but I’m having issues with the display. It turns on fine and the picture looks fine but it doesn’t respond to touch whatsoever. I have checked the connection multiple times and they all are connected properly but nothing I do is working....
Chosen Solution Every time I try to make a call, before I even dial the phone app crashes. Yet I’m able to receive calls, just not make an outgoing call. @mongo19696 , Don, Try to find the phone app clear cache then erase data and press OK, then try to make a call. If this does not do it, possibility other App/software could be corrupt and a Hard reset may solve the issue....

Chosen Solution I bought E5 2697 v2 12 core Xeon processor to replace it with my old 4 core processor. My tech says that he cannot replace it because it has different socket. How is that possible ? If you look on the owc site indeed the 12 core model looks different than the 6, 8, 10 core processors. But the site says the socket is the same. I made a photo of both processors the 12 core is the one on the bottom....
Chosen Solution morning yesterday, i playing game on my ps3 just fine, then when i boot my ps3 at night. It says no signal on my led tv. I had switch my hdmi port, change my hdmi cable, but it kee saying no signal. I tried to enter recovery mode, i hold the power button and come first beep then 5-10 seconds come the second beeps that indicate the video reset....
Chosen Solution I think I may have bent the small piece of metal on the underside case of the PS4 while cleaning it and now my eject button doesn’t work with touch. It works fine using the controller to eject via the UI. There is a small piece of metal which connects the touch makes the connection with the sensor and I do not know what shape it is supposed to be....
Chosen Solution I got the question mark of death so I removed the hard drive from the iMac and installed it into a SATA to USB enclosure and tried to connect it to my MacBook Pro. The MacBook can’t detect the hard drive either. The disc is definitely spinning. I can hear it. I’m wondering if there might be something wrong with the little circuit board on the outside of the hard drive case....
Chosen Solution I left my iphone sittimg for a week with no screen put the new screen on and it wont turn on i forgot to unplug the battery but it is recognized by the computer when plugged into it but wont charge or turn on and i lost all the screws to the cables metal plate for the lcd but ice done it before but still Sounds like backlight filter blown when plugging the LCD with the battery still connected to the board....
Chosen Solution My phone got in a bathroom and water spilled on it. Well actually it’s not J5 but J2 (2015) one. there has no J2 model so I used this instead, It’s too late to put in rice or silica gel because it passed an hour. Now it sounds a lot more quiet and sounded distorted and rather ear rape-like. I know it’s too late but however, since its obsolete i’m going to replace it with Huawei Y7 Pro but I will have to wait for my mom to buy it and send it to me from other city which is still TBA but will be sent in 2019....

I would suggest taking the iPod apart. Visit the Repair section on this site to find out how to take your iPod apart. Then try opening the covers over the power button on your iPod....

Chosen Solution Old microwave all the sudden would come on make noise but wouldn’t heat so got rid of it and got a new one. It does the same thing I plugged into I different outlet and it works.
