Chosen Solution Hello all. This is my first post here Since 2 months my Nexus 4 is suffering of ghost-touches like ghost-clicks and periods when it does not react when I touch it. I’d like to replace the affected parts and I’ve read that it could be caused because of damaged battery or screen. I’ve bought a new battery, but I do not know if I should replace just the LCD display, the touch screen, the digitizer or them all....

Chosen Solution I’ve repaired a few iPhones. Now I have a 6 that had some water damage. Did all the normal stuff I do which usually works. Suck , heat, and blow dry. Then clean screen PCB contacts. Then install new complete screen asst, battery, and camera. Usually works. Didn’t in this case. So I checked the new battery seems like no voltage. So my real question is can I charge the battery if the screen assy is not installed?...
Chosen Solution My iPhone 3Gs will play all tones EXCEPT the SMS/text tone…doesn’t matter which I choose, all I get is the vibrate. I’ve restored my phone (not as a new iPhone), done a number of hard resets and power downs. Any answwer? Is your phone jailbroken? If it is you can SSH into it and remove any metadata files which may be corrupted, it’s the only thing that I can think of that will cause a quirky issue like this....

Start by checking that the charger / charger cord is OK by ensuring that there is 19V DC available when measured at the charger plug....

Chosen Solution My iphone 6 has a long time problem with the display, some time it turns on when I pressed the power/home button but some time it doesn’t, while the sound and touch id all still works normally, so I suspected that it’s just a loosen cable problem. So I opened the phone and unplug and replug the cables, but then I broke one of the screw holes when I try to put back everything, and now I can’t turn on my phone....
Chosen Solution I’m working on an iPhone 6s specifically, but I suppose this question could apply to any of the iPhones. I need to replace FL4105, but the schematics only specify 70-ohms, 25%, 0.28A. Not quite the info I would expect for an inductor. What about frequency response and inductance value? Does anyone know what these components are exactly? All I can reasonably come up with is a multi-layer ceramic chip inductor, but that leaves too many options when trying to find a suitable replacement based only on the minimal info in the schematic....
Chosen Solution after heating it shut down automatic and now its not turning on naz, the possibilities are to numerous at this time to give you a definite answer. Start systematically to narrow it down. Make sure that your power supply is working. Take a multimeter and make sure that the output voltage is correct. I believe it to be 19volts for your mini. If you have power from your AC adapter, remove the adapter from the computer, remove the battery and remove the memory module....
Chosen Solution I’m changing iPhone 5S rear case, but for some reason power button does not seat properly in its place during assemble. It’s stuck and I can’t push it. Button doesn’t move at all. I have watched it very closely so that everything is in the right position, and I just can’t find what is wrong. Hinge of the power button bracket is on its place, orientation of the button is correct, I have moved this little round metal plate from the old button to the new one and also the little black dot is still on its place on the top of the cable....

A factory reset will restore your phone to a factory default condition. It will be like you first bought it. If I push the paper further in to contact the 2nd set of rollers, it will then take the paper and print just fine. It appears that the 1st set of 2 rollers do not even turn. They drop down to contact the paper, and then that’s it. Is this a gear problem?...
Chosen Solution I noticed that the battery was on 100% for a ver long unusual time, I thought it was something that would get fixed by restarting the phone. So, I restarted it and when I saw the battery it was at 16%. Since it was almost discharged, I connected it to the charger but it didn’t charge anything, it got stuck on that 16%, it didn’t charge but neither discharge, it would just stay the same....
Chosen Solution Hi, i had an issue with my keyboard and got myself a replacement which i have installed. But its not working. Some of the keys seems to work but showing up with a different letters. I first thought it was the cables so i had them changed but the problem is not going away. Any idea whats wrong with it? It may be an easy one, hopefully. If you’re using old greek KB settings you should probably just correct that into british english from SystemPreferences/Keyboard/InputSources....
Chosen Solution as I type in words, the phone now wants me to tap on the word a second time to memorize it. It’s like I’m rewriting a dictionary Go to Settings, Language and Input, select your keyboard an there should be an option to clear history or clear dictionary. Hope that helps!
