Chosen Solution I dropped my phone in water and I put it in rice for a couple days. It turns on but then shuts down after a few seconds Hi, As you know water and electronics and electricity are not a good mix. The water causes corrosion and provides circuit paths for the electricity which were not in the phone’s operating design and could damage the components. Chosen Solution The button that power on and lock/unlock the device doesn’t work. This can be fixed? I downloaded and installed the Migration Assistant Update for Mac OS X Leopard v1.0. When I put the G5 in target mode the hard drive icon shows up on the desktop of the Mini, but Migration Assistant will not mount the drive....

Chosen Solution Hi. I have a optical drive in a MBP A1150 that will recognize and play dvds, both blank and “with content”, but the drive will not recognize any form of cd, blank or “with content”. Usually you need a compatible OTG cable or dock for your device. An OTG cable is different than a normal USB cable. An OTG cable has the sense pin shorted to the ground pin, while a normal USB cable does not. Some manufactures may use a resistor of a certain value to short the sense pin to the ground pin....

Chosen Solution This has been the problem for a long time and I’ve delayed fixing it for 2 years now. So it’s probably the backlight does this mean I have to change the screen, or change the MOBO? Hi @vpkami , With the device turned on try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and see if you can detect any images at all. They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help....

Damaged the case and was wondering if there is a company that could advise me on refurbishing or replace. @dennisvasey ,Dennis, You could first try a few good local camera repair shops for estimate on repair of your Nikon CoolPix. Chosen Solution So i broke the screen twice now =( that’s not the issue at hand. I replaced the lower dock,speaker,mic assembly and my iphone had audio for about 3hrs then it went away again. It was very staticky and such, songs would play but sounded like they were skipping on a scratched disk. I have tried everything that I know of please help. Will provide more info as requested....

Chosen Solution When I received this MacBook it was working fine only on a charger and with the battery disconnected. When I connect the battery and a charger I get the green light on a charger for a few moments, then it turns to orange light but MacBook powers on just once, and after I turn it off it won’t start again. I have tried with SMC reset but nothing happens, except green/orange light change on a charger....
