Chosen Solution Hi, I had to open the macbook and removed the keyboard, since I could not insert the harddrive. The problem that the glue of the flexible strip one side for the housing of the harddrive was loosen and the strip blocked the SATA connection. I fixed that, but then the startup failed. No chime, and no booting at all. Battery will be charged, when I plugin the magsafe. Any ideas...

Chosen Solution When I plug the system up to my tv and turn the power on nothing displays on the tv screen. I’ve tried the system on a couple of CRT and and LCD TVs and it will not display anything on any of them. I only have one cord to test with so I am unable to rule out the cord, but the cord is brand new. I have opened it up to make sure the power board was plugged into the main board, and it was, and checked to see if there were any leaking capacitors and as far as I could tell none were leaking it bulging....

Chosen Solution When i turn my computer on it says that i do not have an operating syetem i put in the windows cd and boot from it and i try to install it but it spgets stuck at starting set up what do i do to fix this? Sal Torre, sounds like you have a bad hard drive. That would explain why you got the no OS found error and why windows won’t install....

Chosen Solution I have an older Craftsman riding mower with a Kohler engine. I’ve replaced the key switch, and by passed safety switches still no power to the starter celenoid.power from new battery nothing from switch. Am I missing something? @markes could be any of the safety switches as well as a bad ignition key. I know you said you did bypass the switches but the only way of doing that for sure is by applying jumpers or connecting the cables without the switches....

Dave There are some guides online, including what tools to get and what techniques are needed for each kind of chip. As for iPhone, don’t EVER start with an iPhone. Start with something cheap like routers or flash drives, then try dead iPhones as practice, finally you try with working ones....

Chosen Solution I just upgraded to an iPhone 4. My old iPhone 3G has a crack in the glass up in the corner, but away from the actual screen. Is there some sort of patch (i.e. a few drops of super glue, etc) I can put on the crack to prevent further breakage or just to eliminate any possibility of a sharp edge? Chosen Solution During my daily morning startup my laptop showed weird vertical pink and green lines. The apple logo starts loading but after that it shows a grey screen without the pink and green lines. Then it shuts down and restarts. None of the key combinations like command+r or option+command+r+p work. They al just end up loading the apple logo and restarting again. So I cant do a hardware check or boot up in safe mode either....

Chosen Solution My surface pro 3 is out of warranty their was a problem with the battery microsoft wanted £470 to repair it , I found a guy who said he could fix it so he replaced the battery but also had to replace the screen for £340, this was on April it was working utill now . I noticed that the battery was showing 51% not charging, so I shut it down to see if it would charge over night the day it was the same 51% not charging I then removed the power cord from the tablet and it shut down I had to go through the force shut down 30 secounds and two buttin 15 second’s it came back on stayed on for 20 minutes but shut down again somtimes it would stay on longer , I know its up to date I’ve tried the removal of drivers and restart but still showing 51% not charging that’s when I could get it on , and now it won’t even turn on ?...

Chosen Solution Ok, I have a problem with my iBook G4 12 inches, Mac Os X Leopard 10.5.8, 1.33 GHZ and 1.5 GB of Memory. The problem is that when I turn on my iBook it turns on and it shows the apple logo and the charging icon after that, it shows three blue screens (all this is normal), but the problem is that after the last blue screen it doesn’t show my desktop because it stays in the third blue screen....

I recently dropped my laptop from an around ~1-2 foot drop, I picked it up, and it was working fine, but suddenly maybe like an hour later, my keyboard stopped working, my mousepad and mouse were moving the mouse around the monitor so the screen wasn’t frozen. Chosen Solution My tab 2 10.1 (model number GT-P5113TS ) It was dropped and all of a sudden the lcd display died,although the digitizer works and I can interact with it, It doesn’t display anything. More than likely your LCD is broken and the only fix is to replace the LCD. I would find a complete assembly with a new front glass. The full assembly would allow for a much easier and cleaner repair....
