Chosen Solution The right bumper on my Xbox One controller is no longer working unless I press it a bunch and then it will MAYBE click. I need help! I had this happen before, it was the detent had broken. If that’s the case, I would but one off ebay and save the broken one for parts. If you press down the right trigger and blow into the the right bumper in the gap may 10 times then it somehow fixes it....

Chosen Solution I had dropped a lock on my screen and it didn’t crack but it left a spot where its red and green and blue. im guessing that its the whole display and not the screen, if im wrong please let me know. im hoping I don’t have to pay around 300$ for a new display and is there anyplace I can get them cheap please let me know....

Chosen Solution Hi! I have a Xbox One S Minecraft edition! I recently got my Xbox One from my closet (I haven’t used it for a while, it’s been sitting in my closet for a month untouched) and moved it too my desk when I noticed the bottom shell is misaligned and won’t fit back on. I tried taking the whole bottom shell off and it seems the USB Port on the left of the console is sitting higher then normal, and is blocking the bottom shell from fitting and clipping completely....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on an iPhone 7 and the new screen would not light up. The home button and all other features are still working. I then reinstalled the old/ cracked screen and it will not light/work anymore either. The home button and other features are still operational.

Half the problem seems to be actually finding a boardview and schemetic for this board otherwise I would have a fair idea where to check etc on it. So the customer somehow managed to bend the hinges back on the screen and damaged it....

Try a reset, unplug the TV, then press and hold the power button ((on the TV set)) for 30 seconds, then release it. Then wait 10 minutes and plug the set back in, press and hold the power button again on the set until it turns on....

Chosen Solution Received this device as part of a deal and it looks as if someone has already opened it up before. Once opened the first thing I noticed was visible burns in multiple. The lightning port cables onthe left side are burned, looks like a short. Antenna is significantly burned and a small component underneath it is also completely melted through, not sure what that piece is but it is connected to the underside of the logic board and looks like it is just a cable....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’m a bit stuck with this problem. A week or two back the sound from the loudspeaker started intermittently to get distorted. All OK if I plugged the headphones in or played via bluetooth. Eventually the sound went to only working intermittently and very distorted. Then (no surprise) the sound went completely. Again the headphones work fine. Assuming the speaker had failed I replaced it with no joy....

Chosen Solution Hi. I dropped my Nook with Glowlight and the case came loose. I followed the tear down instructions and took the Nook apart and put it back together sealing the case. It works fine except I lost the Glowlight feature in the process. I can’t turn the Glowlight on at all. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks. I fixed it. Chosen Solution Objektiv dont gos back in the camera house ….. Just tells that objektiv problems on the screen…. Most likely the lens mechanism is jammed. This may happen because of dirt getting in - a few grains of sand will do it - or because the lens barrel got knocked. Here’s a general guide for resolving this type of problem. And here’s another, written by someone who I believe is also a iFixit contributor ;) If the lens refuses to budge after you tried the various solutions offered in the guides linked above, take the camera to a reputable repairperson for a quote....

Try searching places like here or here or search online for Toslink receiver module to find suppliers that have the part that suits. Toslink is normally the standard optical fibre connection system used in consumer audio/video equipment so hopefully you only have to find one that is compatible with the circuit board that it connects to and that physically fits into the cover of the device

Chosen Solution is there replacement parts, or are there relays that snap off and can be turned back on? Fuses or resets? The lightning may have come in through the TV signal distribution system. Do the TV’s that turn on receive their programs normally? Are the TV’s turned on by a cable box in the room? They may be defective. Take a known good TV and check them.

Chosen Solution My cousin’s Dell Desktop won’t boot up to Vista. When he turns the machine on it goes into a black screen and says “Disk Error” It also states “diskette 0 seek failure” and to depress CTRL_ALT_DELETE to restart. I recommended this site to him for future reference cause he cannot access the web in order to get help and trouble-shoot himself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
