If Win 10 is the installed OS, right click on the Windows Start button (left side of Taskbar) and select the Device Manager link in the options box. Check the status of the laptop’s touchpad mouse in Device Manager > Mice and other pointing Devices. Hopefully there should be 2 entries there....

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone in the sink and it got wet, how can I get it dry? Dry off the phone to the best of your ability. Then put it in a zip-lock bag filled with rice. After a few hours, take it out and try to turn it on.
