Chosen Solution The PC works unlike other bios problems that are associated with 4 beeps like black screen however its driving me nuts cant fix it. The Mainboard is old and I have an I5 CPU I was going to use on it however if the mainboard is faulty and cant be repairs I would rather than change the CPU just to remove again shortly after if a new board is needed....

Chosen Solution i ordered rca 10 viking pro tablet from walmart and i received it yesterday. when i turned it on it stayed on the rca logo screen for awhile then turned off. and never came back on. now when i plugged it up to the charger the battery screen doesnt even show up. the blue light on the back by the charger port lights up when i plug in the charger so i i left it on charge overnight....

Chosen Solution I replaced new battery for I phone 6 after follow instruction step by step. No power on, black screen only so I reopen again few more time after I search questions and answers on IFIXIT and check all cable make sure are right connecting, Unfortunately I lost 2 of 5 little screws cover on mother board ( drop inside the phone but I couldn’t find it ) . Is Phone will affect power on without missing 2 screws?...

Chosen Solution Hi, I have replaced successfully the touch screen as per the instruction given. Now mobile is working perfectly but unfortunately there is no signal. so not able to make calls and changed SIM cards for my satisfaction. I have done flashing with latest ROM available in MIUI website, but nothing works. Please help me to fix the problem. Thank.. Have you checked to insure those two IC’s are receiving the proper voltages (PP5V1_GRAPE_VDDH, PP1V8_GRAPE, PP5V7_SAGE_AVDDH, PN5V7_SAGE_AVDDN & PP_SAGE_TO_TOUCH_VCPL)? Most of these are generated by Chestnut (U3).

Alex Has it always been an issue or did it just recently start to behave like this? It it was recent, then you will just need to get a new fan for the model. I don’t believe you can put in a different kind of fan and have it work correctly....

While using my device at noon I’m getting 70℃ cpu temperature, at idle load(no apps running) is this temperature alright or too high? Chosen Solution Hi, This macbook pro had a little bit of water damage from using in the bathroom. Everything works fine except one key… The @/# key has now the function “volume up”. How is this possible? Fixable? Can i change the function from settings? Thx for your help. Using it in the bathroom !?!?! Thats not the best place to use your system. Sadly this is not an easy fix what happened here is the soapy water got into the keyboard onto the switching elements damaging them....

Chosen Solution I too can’t get the iPhone 3GS to work after replacing the battery. The install seemed to go well. Once back together only get red battery when plugged into wall, then quickly goes to Apple Logo. New battery charged for over 3 hours with not changed. Does not seem like battery is charging. Apple logo and phone turns off immediately after disconecting from wall charger. iPhone does nothing if plugged into the computer....

Chosen Solution Recently I went to turn on my Panasonic ST60 and was greeted with a lovely light show of 7 red blinks. Apparently this indicates SD/SU/SC so I took the back panel off and troubleshooted as follows. Unplugged SD board, 7 lights still Unplugged SU board, 7 lights still Unplugged SC board, now 8 lights I see 8 lights indicates SS board. Unplug that. 10 lights. Where does this leave me?...

Chosen Solution I recently dropped my phone in about an inch of water, now it only dropped in the headphone/lightning port portion of the phone nothing else. However now the phone is stuck in headphone mode…the loudspeaker works and the volume works when I have headphones in and the phone is charging fine. Also, the phone sometímes will get out of the headphone mode but after a minute or so will go back....

Chosen Solution My BLU Advanced 5.2 will not charge, I noticed this when I left it to charge at 44% and came back an hour later seeing it at 30%, The phone is dead now and I can’t get into recovery mode because there is no battery power left. When I try, the recovery mode screen pops up for 1 second then the phone turns off again. I googled some ways to fix this and one of the ways was to take out the battery and put it back in, sadly my battery is unremovable....

Chosen Solution (My English conversation is really really really bad. I’m sorry.) A few weeks ago, I opened my macbook; problem is CPU temperature and cooling solution. My conclusion is simple maybe - paste new thermal paste and get rid of all dusts inside macbook. So, I saw macbook disassembly in this site and follow the steps and reassemble it. Assemble might be perfect, but power button not working :-( But, connect power cable, macbook boot automatically, saw apple logo....

Chosen Solution all of the power door locks do not work, but the drivers side door will unlock but not lock. I do here the actuators clinking but thats it also coincidentaly the power mirrors quite working also ? any suggestions? @wishbone , Ralph, You say you hear the actuators trying to work, which means the swithes and relays are probably working. Sounds like you may have to pull the interior door panels off to gain access to the lock actuators and free them up....

Hi @canblue , The power jack charging port is a plug in module so it should be easy to replace it. Here is a link to the ifixit ACER Aspire E1-572-6870 Fan Replacement guide. It is useful as it shows how to get access to the motherboard in the laptop, so that the charging port can be replaced....

Chosen Solution I have a 15” mbp 2011 just laying around at home, was wondering if I can soup it up. it has an i7 in it, it’s easy enough to update ram and stick an ssd in it. But all of it would be kind of pointless if I can’t upgrade the screen which is the older 1440x900. I think it’s possible to get a 1080p screen and upgrade the panel?...
