You have to remember these printers are several years old which means problems like this are becoming more common. Check for dust and see if that’s the issue before assuming the rollers are worn out....

Chosen Solution The starter motor/ alternator wire cranks but melts the wire to generate power i don’t know what needs to be replaced in it and starts but doesn’t charge that battery. I feel like it has something to do with the voltage regulator but i dont know what thats for. @d1or2or you did not tell us which wire melts. This is usually caused by something drawing to high an amperage....

Water isn’t damaging to a device, electricity is, and water reroutes electricity where it’s not supposed to go.
