Afterwards i turned it back on and it wasnt reading the disc so i took the disc out and put it back it. immediatly i noticed the disc light didnt come on and then after one or two seconds after inserting the disc it makes a noise like it is trying to eject the disc....

Chosen Solution Help any one else having this problem? If your PS4 pulls the disc in like normal but just won’t read anything then it’s likely that you need a new laser. The laser is the part that reads what’s on the disc. This is a common problem with any game console…they just wear out over time. This is my best guess based on your description. Chosen Solution When I turn the volume up on my player, it still won’t produce sound, what should I do? Are you using headphones? Make sure your headphones aren’t just faulty by testing them on a different device. Also, make sure your volume is turned all the way up by using either the remote or the dial on the side. If it is none of these issues, you may need to replace the speakers....

Chosen Solution Had a particularly frustrating screen replacement yesterday with a digitizer screen that fracture and splintered with every successive pry. Finally managed to get everything apart and cleaned up with no further damage to internal components (VERY surprised that the instructions did not specifically call out disconnecting the battery BTW). Reassembled everything and went to test prior to sealing the new screen down only to find that it’s not functioning....

Radek With water damage, you have to decontaminate the logic board before doing anything else, otherwise there will be latent issues down the road. I have installed 2 known working digitizers and still no touch. There is no physical damage to the cables or pins.
