Chosen Solution I have a 20 inch iMac 2.4GHz that won’t power on. There is no power to anything - no hd spinning, no fan, no power to any ports. I have replaced the PRAM battery but there is still nothing. What is my next step? Power Supply? As this is an old computer I do not want to sink lots of money into it to get it going. Looking for advice and options....

I read to shine a light at a slant into black screen to look for if you can see any lettering or words as if it was on, but I didnt see anything....
Chosen Solution I replaced the battery and ear piece speaker for my wife’s iPhone 5 but the ear piece speaker still didn’t work. I tried putting headphones in the jack and fiddling with that, and eventually it started working again (this was after the battery/ear piece replacement, and it still didn’t work). I am not sure if it was related to putting ear buds in the headphone jack or not. Is there anything else I can do to fix this for good, or not an easy fix?...

Okay,this is the latest in a series of replacements/repairs to my Macbook since July of ‘09 - and still can not get it going. 1st the harddrive died - bought new one and had to replace the bottom case so the new harddrive would seat correctly (cracks in case,) the case replacement came and apparently there are 2 diffent models on the macbook 13" that go by the same model number but are not identical - replaced the back case again once the difference was dicovered during reassembly....

Notcharging at all I wanted to change the battery of my Mac because my original one was decharging a bit Quick. So i bought an ifixit one. Nothing work. Chosen Solution phone doesnt register any network Most of the time, in my experience, it is the sim card. Either it is not seated correctly, or not functioning correctly. You can reseat it by removing it, and putting it back in. If that doesn’t work, and you know the SIM card is good. You can reset to factory settings, just remember you lose everything on the phone.

It use to be in Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Invert Colours. There should be smart invert and classic invert. Chosen Solution Hi, I recently bought a secondhand MacBook Pro that needed a bit of repair. I opened it and discovered quite a bit of sticky solvent all over the battery. Now, I’m not quite sure what that was. I’m thinking it’s either a leaking battery or someone spilled it quite a bit of Coke onto the MacBook. Chosen Solution I’ve sent off my iPad to be repaired by a local repair company. The screen was cracked & the home button needed replaced after using it “as is” for years. The ipad had full function, the screen & home button still worked. I received a call from the tech telling me they had a serious issue, the lcd connector was most likely damaged and he needed to order the part,he also explained that replacing this part may not fix it....
Chosen Solution I think the room mate over loaded it, i get an error code of f7 e1. the board has the green light, so it should be good. flipped it and the drum moves freely and the belt is not loose. it will move when it locks the lid and does the senosr mode. it unocks the lid for a moment, then relocks and re senses and then adds water, but then it wont move during the washing phase....

Anyway I have taken my console apart multiple times and cleaned the fan and heat sink properly because there was quite a bit of dust. NOW.. I turn my PS4 on and It stays on for roughly 25 seconds and shuts down. All thermal pads are still In place, the thermal paste is dry and next to nothing on the chip....
Chosen Solution the screen on my Macbook is dark , the book works but I can’t see anything on the screen, is it repairable? At this point your system should be under warranty. I would visit an Apple Store or authorized service center to have it fixed. If you have any damage dropped or liquid then all bets are off for a free repair. Disassemble your iPod by using these guides Clean the board with plenty of high percentage isopropyl alcohol to prevent corrosion and failure later on. Clean the cable ends and the connectors as well....

If using the power adapter, disconnect the adapter and try inserting the batteries and check if it stays on. If using batteries try using a compatible power adapter and check if it stays on.
