Chosen Solution No worries, it’s not the usual won’t boot issue. I googled for my prob night and day. Atm the book runs without battery. When I plug in the MacBook Pro Mid 2011 into a power socket it starts fine, but not due pressing the power button. There is nothing. Same for shut off. Can shut down via Software (Mavericks) but the power button is “dead”. Letters and numbers won’t respond....

Chosen Solution I have a PowerBook g4 I been having trouble with the laptop. The hard drive is still in the computer and it reads it just fine but when I replace the hard drive with the SSD it doesn’t read it. But when I plug in the SSD externally it reads but does not boot from it. I was wondering if I can have some help with this problem I really want to make this laptop run like new again like it did back then....

Chosen Solution hi. my Honda civic it happen 2 times after driving for 25 -30 minuet when I stop few min later I try to start the battery is dead.. few hrs later it start… I clean the + - I check the positive for any ground all good… any help… thanks vitodeluca could be a bad battery that does no longer hold a charge or a bad alternator. Right now from what you are describing, it sounds to me like you need a new battery first....

Then one day I brought an new phone then held on to the one i already had. one day the phone i brought broke and this “broken” phone was my back up. I turn it on and for like an hour I had service until it said “Searching.” I called apple and even walked in they told me that nothing is wrong with the phone, they ran all the tests on it and cannot find any issues....

Chosen Solution how can i recover this ipod without a computer or itunes You can’t by any means, except contacting the previous owner and ask them to remove their “find my iPod” from Apple servers. When that’s done, connecting it to a Pc in recovery/Dfu mode to do a reflash with latest firmware would clear local data and allow a new activation.

Sounds like you might have a virus on your system. When was the last time you ran you antivirus program? Well you might want to run it and scan your system for viruses....

Chosen Solution Anytime I switch on my MacBook pro the trackpad moves and works anyhow without me touching it Take the bottom off and examine the battery for swelling. With the battery out and the Mag-Safe plugged in, boot and see if the issue persists. If it is working fine, replace the battery.

Chosen Solution Is it possible to gain access to timer and either replace switch or wire past it, great unit don’t want to replace it just because the timer has broken not allowing poser to unit. Tom Wirtxzfield, take a look at the service manual that you can download from here. It will show you how to get to the individual parts and thus allow you to further trouble shoot your receiver....

Chosen Solution Water damaged iphone. Rice for 48 hours. Everything works but touch screen (receives phone calls, texts, etc., touch sensor works). Replaced screen/digitizer. Still doesn’t work. What else can I try? Probably one of 2 IC chip may have problems. On the back of the pcb below the black tape there are 2 IC located over the Large Metallic chip your PMIC in this case. Basically, my Mac doesn’t recognise the battery, so either the battery is faulty or there is some setting I need to change? As iFixit don’t offer support, I’m hoping I can get a solution here, before contacting my credit card provider for a refund. iFixit really shouldn’t offer a “solution” if the Apple software and hardware environment doesn’t support it....

Chosen Solution I have a Samsung tv. Un65j6200af and it had no lights so I replaced the LEDs thinking that was the problem. Now I get a very faint light I see the Samsung logo then 2 big vertical blue bars then back to black. I’ve also replaced the tcon board. Also when I unplug the cable from the main board to the power board and plug it in the wall nothing happens but when I unplug all the leds flash once....

Chosen Solution Cable and Signal were testet on another TV @gunnian if everything checks out on another TV, it is the HDMI chip on your TV’s main board that has failed. There are no schematics readily available so I recommend that you change the complete main board and re-evaluate.

Chosen Solution Hi everyone! Motherboard: asus P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1). In the asus uefi bios I don’t have the secure boot, csm and fast boot options. It must be in “boot” menu, but I have nothing there. I have the last version of bios (Version 3602 2012/11/22). Please, tell me, how can I “unhide” this options? Need it so much. Add 2 images with my uefi bios and another one found in the internet....

Chosen Solution this person is selling a mac book pro 4 425 with this when i power it up, the led light on top of the power supply input just flickers dim green. but i powered up the battery with another laptop and it still starts up with the fan at high speed and a black screen is this worth fixing?? Chosen Solution So got an iPhone 6 in that won’t power on. Tested main lines and removed a short in vcc_main. After so all other lines I could test are good with no shorts and correct voltage…except for pp1v8 and pp1v8_sdram. Phone isn’t pulling any amps through ammeter. For fun I swapped tristar as well as main pmic. I’m still getting 0 amps and .7v through pp1v8. Any thoughts? No liquid damage as well and again these lines aren’t shorted....
