Chosen Solution Hi. I got new problem - Sometimes my headphone jack not react with headphones insertion, and SMC/PRAM reset not fixing it. Only thing is working - reboot laptop with headphones on it. But, after system goes to sleep it again it doesn’t see the headphones. I could not remove the battery because I did not have the torq screwdriver needed. I set it on it’s side, open like a clamshell. I tried the sim card on my other phone, it worked fine. I brought my phone to my network provider and was told that it’s a hardware issue. Chosen Solution How can I bootup bypassing battery to check before having to buy a new battery? There must be a battery installed for the device to boot. You’re battery voltage is too low but the charge circuit should still recognize it and charge it, allowing for a boot process once the battery gets to the proper voltage. Leave the device charged overnight to see if this helps. If the battery is not charging properly, it could be a battery issue or a charge circuit issue....

Chosen Solution I bought a cheap car adapter. I know, I know, lesson learned. NEVER will happen again! I promise! When I plugged the phone in to it, the phone restarted itself (apple logo and all). That’s all that I noticed at that time.
