Chosen Solution Hi, Got this iPhone 6 that was dropped down the toilet. Taken off the screen as around the pins there is what looks like a bit of mould/corrosion also at the bottom of the phone around the mic and speaker there is white marks which I think are corrosion too. Chosen Solution Hi All, Although I have successfully done it before, this time when cloning from an internal 320GB to a firewire 500GB using disk utility, resulted in my MacBook Pro not booting. It starts to boot, and then there’s a weird symbol on the grey screen like a national speed limit road sign (struckthrough O) ?! I noticed that the partion map scheme in disk utility on the cloned disk says ‘Unknown’, and it’s GUID on the source drive, so maybe that’s part of the problem?...

Is that repairable? @kvogel , Kerry, first inspect the port and blow it out in case it has dust or debri in it. It is repairable and a known issue for the charge ports to loosen. As a result, the restore process also failed and gave this error 48. The only way I would know is to repair the baseband circuit, then try to restore again. The phone should work properly again....

Chosen Solution So I recently suffered a power outage while my PS4 was on. Now it won’t turn on at all. No beeps no light it won’t even turn on and then turn off. It’s completely dead. So I figured after going through websites and videos it was the power supply. My PS4 is the very first model so I ordered one off ebay and bought the ifixit bit screw set which is a nice set even though I only needed it for the torx screws....

Chosen Solution Screen not broken and everything still works but screen so dark I can only read in darkened room. Have updated driver etc but no luck First thing that comes to mind is a backlight failure. If this isn’t the case I would think it could be a display connector issue. Chances are that if it isn’t an OLED or in a OLED family it is a backlight failure.

Chosen Solution My tv UN55ES7500FXZC with the expansion box fitted keeps periodically turning its self off then on again. Sometimes it gets caught in a loop and does this till I unplug it then works great again for a while. Any clues if its an expensive repair or can be repaired?? Thanks. Chosen Solution So the USB port on this pair of Astro A50s is totally botched, can’t find a replacement part for it. I decided to try a breakout board, but I don’t know what the yellow wire is for, on the original USB board is says it’s “Wire 1” I got the unit charging by hooking up the USB+ to VCC and USB- to Ground. I don’t think it’s related to the unit not syncing to the base station, but id like to know what the purpose of it is....

Chosen Solution I have only one charger, the one it came with. Everything was fine until today. I can’t charge from usb or even have the pc see the iPhone. Charging from wall or car charger works fine. Also won’t work on co-workers cable. Co-worker’s iPhone works fine on my cable. iPhone was purchased 29 days ago. It sounds like a cable or connector aproblem. Try replacing the cable and see if that fixes it....
