Chosen Solution Hello! Recently my father tried to turn on his MacBook Air 13” Early 2014 MD760LL after leaving it for charging, and it did not turn on anymore. There was no physical or liquid damage. I tried battery and SMC reset, but it didn’t solve the problem. When connected to power, orange light is on whole time. I disassembled the case and found out capacitor is overheating and smells burned when board connected to power (after some time smell goes away)....

Chosen Solution Last night I dropped my phone in my drink for a solid 30 - 60 seconds. Long story about how and why that happened. I couldn’t turn it off immediately since there’s no removable battery and the screen display went black (I later found out the display cable/connector was right around the area it was submerged in) but it was still playing Spotify. I unplugged and attempted to suck out all the soda that I could and ran my vehicle’s heat on it at max temp for a few minutes since I was driving and couldn’t stop or do anything else....

Chosen Solution I have reset the phone multiple times and tried it on multiple carriers. It will sucessfully place the call, and the receiving party can anwser the call. There is no option to change audio source, usually the top right button in a call. The iPhone 7 series of devices have proven to be very unreliable, suffering from flex-based issues similar to the iPhone 6 Plus (Touch Disease). On the iPhone 7, the fault line runs along the top of the SIM card reader and affects the Baseband CPU and Audio IC....

Chosen Solution i phone 6new charge port..new screen, new battery..turns on to apple logo for about 5 seconds then back off. does not show battery charging icon. at battery have roughly 4vt. not sure it has a sim card, sons old phone.

Chosen Solution Hey guys, I was cleaning my iMac and took the screen off to air out all the dust. When putting it back together I plugged the display power cable backwards. Now screen won’t turn on and there’s burn marks below. I can hear the computer start and the boot sound plays. Screen stays off all the time. Any hope to get it back working? Chosen Solution I was wondering if there is any way to boot into macOS with an external display with the screen removed? While I was waiting for a replacement screen from eBay for this computer, I think the battery may have died while the computer was partially assembled. I tried plugging it in since I noticed the Caps Lock button was not working anymore, and to my surprise, I heard the boot chime!...

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I have a Oneplus X which has been repaired by Oneplus half a year ago for a broken motherboard (great repair, no complaints there). My battery however is degrading fast, and I want to replace it myself. Because the phone has already been opened to replace the motherboard, it does not come with the original glue. I suppose some sort of double sided adhesive tape has been used by the repair shop....

Chosen Solution Phone says “No Power to Base”.. I unplug power connector from the base wait a second and replug in..The red LED turns on, within 2 seconds gets a little brighter for 1 second then totally dead.. I have checked power supply (5v) with a 5v source and same result..Cable isn’t the problem because it’s not intermittent. Same results consistently. the excess light before it goes dead , I’m thinking is a capacitor discharge, possibly through a hot shorted transistor....

Chosen Solution Apple iMac A1225 24" Delta power supply Has anyone out there ever had a power supply that powers the computer but not the display????????? It was the GPU Got my Mini DVI connector and got the Mac to display onto another external display. Got another display and still nothing, got another inverter cable and still nothing. So instead of buying another GPU I bought another iMac that worked but had a yellow screen to test the PSU....

Chosen Solution I was using the YouTube app on my PS3. Once I exited the app the screen briefly flashed to a static screen then remained black, while still showing green ‘power on’ light. I turned off the TV and reset the PS3. PS3 dashboard was with normal video and sound. Just curious if this is a precursor to a failing HDMI port on the PS3 or TV, or a failing HDMI cable....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 device is unable to record sound. Headphones will not work when plugged in through the lightning port. Help! Does the phone still charge? There may be damage with the lightning assembly. Some everything goes through that port I don’t think it would be unreasonable to think it might have failed

Chosen Solution Owning a Dual Screen* Lite, I am able to play GameBoy Advance games on my DS. The one particular software my problem persists with is Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. You know how the Language Select screen ONLY comes up the VERY FIRST TIME the GamePak is inserted? Recently I found that that screen comes up every time I start up the software, and all the save data ever kept on this cartridge is nowhere to be found....

Chosen Solution My iPod is fully charged, but when I turn it on it turns itself off The cells in your battery could be dead. If the iPod shows full charge when plugged in, thats because what little cells you have left to charge take very little to fuel up. However, with a small amount of working cells, this isn’t enough to keep the iPod running. Since I trust hardly any other suppliers other than iFixit, i would suggest claiming a warranty service on it....

Chosen Solution I put my phone on the charger like I do every night. It was charging. Then when I woke up My phone screen was black. It wouldn’t turn on. So I unplugged it thinking that maybe it died on the charger and it just stopped charging in the middle of the night. I took out the battery for 5 minutes thinking that it would maybe conduct some type of charge....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, So, I replaced the battery on my A1398 Mid-2015 Retina MacBook Pro and now I can’t turn on the laptop on battery. Also, while it does turn on with the power adapter, it doesn’t charge the battery, and if I remove the power adapter, the computer shuts down. Any ideas? I remember having a similar issue when replacing the battery on an A1502, but I can’t remember how I solved it lol… Things I’ve already tried (with no success unfortunately): different chargerSMC and PRAM resetSafe Mode I feel like it’s probably something I’m missing....
