Chosen Solution I don’t remember ever dropping my camera, but the screen has been flickering for a while now. I’m curious about what could be done to fix this. It sounds like either the screen itself has a defect or it has a loose connection to the motherboard. I would check out the S4800’s troubleshooting page section on LCD screen problems. You may have to open up the device to see if the connection from the screen to the motherboard is loose and this can be done by following the monitor replacement guide....

Chosen Solution I have a 5TB Seagate Backup Plus that I was using out of the norm (as an Xbox One hard drive) and it just stopped working late last year after a storm. The hard drive turns on as normal, but I can’t pull it up on my desktop, Macbook, or game console, and the power indicator light keeps flashing. I plugged it in today, after months, and it started pulling up again, but not for long....

Chosen Solution So my iPhone was updating its software this morning and all of a sudden it began rebooting and rebooting and rebooting. It never actually accepted the software upgrade. I tried connecting it to my iTunes and it said that it needed to restore to original settings. when I attempted to download the software and do it my self it kept giving me an error. I took it to apple and they tried to do the same thing and they received the same errors....

Chosen Solution I dropped my IPhone 6 cracked the screen and had it replaced.Now it randomly changes on any app I go to Are you referring to “ghost touching”, i.e. the touchscreen seems to have a mind of it’s own? It sounds like the replacement screen is defective. If you had it done in a shop, then you should go back and have them take care of it under warranty. If you replaced it yourself, then double check with your vendor to see if they offer a warranty on it....

Chosen Solution My phone was saying searching all the time even though I don’t have the Sim card Inside so I tried everything which is setting the time and date correctly but it didn’t help so I tried to restore the iPhone but it’s stuck on 99% I tried with a third-party restart of test but it didn’t work either thanks If restore failed with a “searching” status it’s quite likely the iPhone has a hardware issue, probably on the cellular side....

Chosen Solution It still registers but it doesn’t have the same sort of springy feeling. Its worth noting I think started after a fall on the trigger. I’m guessing some piece of trigger assembly either broke or got out of alignment. Unfortunately I can only seem to find on trigger repair guides for the 3DS and those seem to be about replacing a flex cable not a mechanical issue (presumably they wore out the actual electrical switch component)....

Chosen Solution Need a replacement screen for Vizio tv P502ui-B1E Ty Morris, you could try and call vizio and find out what it costs for someone to come out and replace it. To purchase an individual LCD panel is very cost prohibitive. The LCD panel itself will cost you more than a new TV. Find the model number of the panel, not the TV and do an online search. See what it brings up....

Chosen Solution The computer had water damage and was booting and shutting off intermittently. It now doesn’t boot at all (although I’m using a Dell XPS 13 charger to charge it at the moment, so finding an Apple charger could be one last thing I could try). I had someone look at it and they suggested I just sell it for parts. I plan to do that, but first I want to get the data off of the drive and also wipe the drive if possible....

Chosen Solution My iMac is running out of RAM now. I spec’ed my Mac out when I bought it and yet my Mac is sucking the RAM up! I use so much it’s not funny and I need to upgrade to 64 GB so this is not a answer to the question i need to know if you can put 64 GB in the iMac Some people have had issues with the first versions of the 27" 5K displayed iMac’s running with more than 32 GB of RAM....

Chosen Solution Hi ! I have recently bought a new battery for my iPod, because the last one was starting to have a short duration of use. But the problem is that the new battery won’t charge up : the battery logo show that it’s fully loaded after 1 minute, and the it drains after 1 minute too, and that’s only when I plug the iPod to the sector, otherwise the sreen keeps flashing with le Apple logo....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I was looking for some help to see anyone could point me in the right direction. My iMac 2011, 27” currently has no display output both with the internal LCD display or through an external monitor. I’ve also tested a second LCD display with no luck. The 4th diagnositic light isn’t on when the display is connected, but the other 3 are. The device boots with the chime and is accessible via SSH....

Chosen Solution I replaced the optical drive using the iFixit instructions and they were excellent. Upon using the drive, it works fine but makes noise like it is spinning out of level or something catching in the reading/writing process. The higher the speed of spinning the less noise. If it’s not a new unit it could be getting ready to fail. Ensure that all the proper screws, pads, spacers were replaced in the proper places, & not over tightened....

Chosen Solution Replaced my screen and now when I call someone or someone calls me I can’t hear them and the phone restarts. Also I can’t answer the phone Let’s try a force restart, if that doesn’t take, then let’s try backing up the phone, delete and restore to the backup. If the problem persists, put the phone into dfu mode, and restore to the backup. I have replaced the following: Hard drive (currently blank until I can see to install OS) Power supply Graphics card (yes it can be replaced. It is not soldered to the logic board.) Logic board At this point I will not fail if I have to replace every darn component in the thing....

Chosen Solution I have ordered a power bank in aluminium casing. The seller paid less care about the packaging and protection during transportation, the device (ca 220 g) had a dent on the edge of its aluminium body. I presume the shock was quite hard to do such through 2 layers of thin cardboard and 1 layer of bubble wrap. It turns on, seems to charge up and down. But I am very worried about keeping it, since this is Li-Ion battery inside, which adds anxiety about safety....

Chosen Solution The power button on my iPad will turn off at the long press but won’t lock the screen. I haven’t had the screen replaced. I simply had the battery replaced by a third party seller. What could have possibly gone wrong ? Any advise is appreciated. The issue is caused by either a damaged or missing smart cover sensor which is generally behind on the glass itself. This is just a guess but it could be that the sensor got damaged when the iPad was serviced....

Chosen Solution CarolineM , The link below is a partial tear down to get inside the device to access the charge port. Repairing a loose USB type charge port that is soldered to the mother board is a delicate procedure and when not experienced while fixing could cause more damage to surrounding circuitry because of heat necessary to install new port or to reattach old port. Changing charge port,normally not a job for the beginner....
