Take a look at iPod Nano 1st Generation Click Wheel Button Replacement step 17 will show you where your hold switch is on the board. Take a look at your case, there should be a part that fits in the switch, check to make sure it still engages on the switch....

The battery is good as I charge it externally with the External Charger I bought - meaning I can use my macbook for like 2 hours or so at one charge. Following the ifixit and some other forums I have now replaced the faulty part which is Meg Safe Dc - in but still it doesn’t Charge....
Chosen Solution My phone got the screen and LCD replaced and now its showing no sign of life. I last charged it on wednesday before handing it over, it also connects to itunes If your phone is recognized by iTunes, that means the logic board mainly works. As for the “black” screen, you either have a backlight issue or a dead LCD. To check the backlight, connect your phone to iTunes and shine a bright light on the LCD....
Chosen Solution I broke the part connecting the shield plate on top of the screen connector to the logic board. Are you referring to the screw hole thing that is on the logic board? I’m guessing that must of gotten ripped off and tore the traces on the logic board causing the phone to not turn on. It’s similar to long screw damage but worse in some cases.
Chosen Solution Everything boots normally but nothing appears on my screen i not sure what to do Try connecting to an external monitor, if you do not have one then check with friends or family to let you use it for testing. If the video displays on the external monitor then the graphics adapter is good, the problem is the display. If the video does not display on the external monitor then the problem is the graphics adapter that is built into the system board of the laptop....

Let us know what model your TV is and if you can post a video or images of your flickering with your question. Use this guide for this.That way we can see what you see. If the flickering includes shaking of the image than it is most likely related to bad caps on the power board....

It looks like you broke you display LCD. The glass doesn’t have to brake to destroy the LCD. The way to fix it is to replace the display assembly....
Chosen Solution My Webcam recently started scrolling. I had updates 4 days ago, about the same time I start to have trouble. I tried updating software, but that made the scrolling move faster. What other options do I have “? Uninstall software/ camera drivers, reboot notebook (Windows should just rediscover the drivers itself) and re-install software. Something probably just got corrupted. The new part is a no-solder replacement, I just need to know the disassembly order and procedure. Chosen Solution When I power on my computer it makes the normal startup sound. If I press any letters and press enter it beeps again (syntax error) meaning it is working as intended. But the only thing wrong is that when it’s on the display shows no video. It’s sending out signals to the TV because when I turn the computer on the TV brightens. I wonder what should I do first....
Chosen Solution i recently picked up an iphone 7 plus that appeared to be in good condition. upon setup i realized that it could not see my wifi. tested wifi with my old 6s and it was working fine. set the 7 plus on the router and it would see and connect to wifi. figured it was an antenna problem after some reading online. ordered the wifi diversity antenna that goes on the loud speaker, turns out that wasnt the problem....
