Chosen Solution My MacBook LCD suddenly started behaving weird, sometimes i open the MacBook to find the screen in black, i can see whats on the screen if i put it iin front of light, if i closed the laptop and open it for 2 or 3 times, it works like nothing happened, i read some answeres here about the inverter and inverter cableand the LCD bulb, so , what is it most probably, and another question, i’m in germany, so do you know where can i buy thse parts from?...

Chosen Solution Not reading the Sd card @dale1 try a different card first. If a different card does not work you could consider taking it apart and check the card reader itself. Use this guide Nintendo DS Main Circuit Board Replacement for that

Chosen Solution I need to replace the LED PCBoard on my electric pressure cooker as the LED display is broken. I managed to get the spare part from an appliance spares place, but now I have no idea where to open the Pressure cooker (easiest way), to swop out the old board for the new one. Chosen Solution I’m working on a macbook pro 13" that powers on to grey screen and just stays there, won’t boot from usb, or attempt hdd boot, i don’t even get the icon that shows when it can’t see a boot device. Go here and enter your serial number (located on the back in fine print), and let us know exactly what you have. Chosen Solution I just installed a new hard drive in my 2009 intel imac, and now the fans are blowing full blast, which is what I was afraid would happen because the new hard drive didn’t have a port for the thermal sensor cord. How do I slow them down?? It’s really loud. James - The best way to solve this is to install a replacement thermal sensor that is designed to work with your Mac system....

Chosen Solution changed my iphone 6 battery becuase it was only lasting for 2 hours, after i was done with replacement, phone powered on and everything but the battery came dead and it turned on when i plugged it in but it wouldn’t charge. Every minute or so it would restart also Hi Brady, When you replaced the battery, which guide did you use? I recommend to follow this guide here on ifixit....

Chosen Solution My Alienware laptop cannot power on. No response after pressing power. derekseven you want to start off by checking the output of your AC adapter with a multimeter. If the output is correct for your model (you did not tell us which model you have) then you need to consider taking it apart and measure/check the DC in connector. Try and trace the power loss from there on. If you give us your computers model number we may find a more direct answer....

Chosen Solution my laptop is not starting its beeping continually unlimited times @akshaygosavi if you are getting a continous beep that means most likely that your computer can’t post. that is why you have no distinct post code pattern beep. Try this first: Remove any peripheral devices that are attached to the computer. Remove the computer from a docking station if it is in one Remove any CDs or DVDs in the optical drive Remove the AC adapter from the computer and remove the AC power cord from the wall outlet....

Chosen Solution My left speaker has just started buzzing when the volume is higher than about half volume, particularly when bass is being used a lot. Do you think there is anything I could do by opening it up? Best to send it back to Apple under warranty. There could be dirt/dust on the speaker causing this, but it is unlikely.

Chosen Solution My screen is faulty and I need to replace it - Can I buy one and do it myself I don’t know the Olympus but most compact digital cameras are fairly straightforward to take apart. As for the spare part, your best bet is probably to look out for an identical camera with a different fault on eBay - they often go very cheaply. Practice disassembly on this and then you should be confident to fit the screen from it to yours....

Chosen Solution I had to have my HDMI port replaced so I sent it to a repair shop. They fixed the HDMI but whenever I start a game the fan slowly gets louder until it becomes a jet engine then a over heat screen comes up , red lights blink and the ps4 shuts down. What did those idiots who replaced my HDMI do to my ps4. Fan isn’t the issue as I can feel the air blowing....

Chosen Solution I cleaned my screen with a damp cloth, and this stain showed up. Why is that? Liquid has leaked behind the screen and stained the backlight sheets. If you’re lucky it might dry out, but in most cases it will not; so you are either stuck with it or you can replace the whole assembly Hi! The same thing happened to me when I was cleaning off the residue of the peeling antiglare coating with various solvents (thank you, Apple)… Anyway, it is hot now so I hope it will dry on its own, but: If I take off the display assembly and peel off part of the rubber bezel, how safe it is to ‘blow-dry’ the affected corner?...

Chosen Solution my tv is a sumsang it got a crack but the is a sound and little bit of the screen @thami you cannot repair the panel. You would have to repalce it, but it is most likely that the LCD panel cost more than a new TV. You could try and find a broken (other than the LCD) TV that usess the same panel and transplant it to your TV....

Chosen Solution After upgrading RAM, I was replacing the bottom cover, and one of the short screws went flying. Can you tell me the size, and ideally a source? I see that iFixit has full screw kits, but they are $60 and out of stock besides. Thanks, Tom. I may be wrong but suspect it is a 3mm long Phillips screw and expect it’s the same thread size as the longer (13mm) screws....

Chosen Solution There’s no video display on t.v. I have tried shutting ot off and leaving off for a day, unplugging it and tried a different t.v. and still the problem persist. what else can i do? It’s highly likely that your PS4 has a bad HDMI port. They are very weak on PS4’s and will cause the problem that you are having. The only good way to fix this problem is to either take it to a repair shop that knows what they are doing or sending it in to a shop that can do it....
