I did everything by the book as I replaced the cracked screen and everything seemed okay after reassembly. But after about 30 minutes , an hour tops of testing the signal dropped and I can’t seem to be able to get it back....

Chosen Solution I followed the instructions on ifixit to replaced a crashed hard drive on a powerbook G4 17" 1Ghz. I think I might have pulled the audio ribbon cable a little too hard when I was taking it apart. After installing the new hard drive and reinstalling the OS (10.6), I realized there is no sound coming from the internal speaker. Sound from the audio jack is okay. Here’s what I’ve tried: Zap PRAMReset Open firmwareChecking Audio under system preferences to ensure it’s not on headphonesRemoved and installed the audio ribbon cables a few times I’ve already ordered a new ribbon cable, and still waiting for it a arrive....
Chosen Solution I already looked trough the question but my problem doesn’t seems to be reported by someone else. If I put the earphones all the way in the jack only one earphone works (the left one) but if on 3/4 both works… Using the bose soundsport for android but I don’t have that problem on my ipod touch… Any clue? Chosen Solution Can I get just the front frame piece including the home button. We melted the home button with the heat gun while replacing the front screen. Thanks! Unfortunately there isn’t a cheap part that includes the home button. The home button and frame is included in the complete display assembly, but that part is pretty pricey since it’s the entire front half of the phone. Right here
Chosen Solution So I just had this argument with my boyfriend’s older brother. He is about 30 years old super lazy and really dirty. And today I come in too see a slow cooker on top of the stove on right next to the burner. So I looked at my boyfriend and said well that’s not safe.. as usual he gets right defensive and says it’s not going to melt… our stovetop is old the burners get extremely hot even after leaving them for a while and he has the slow cooker cord 2 inches from the burner… now I usually don’t cook often but I clearly use my bloody head…....

But even with a “good” working battery?…or plugged in with a “good” working power adapter it won’t power on. its as if there’s no power to the device even though there IS a good battery and power supply(and I know the battery and power supply are good because I have ANOTHER T-420 that they came from!...
Chosen Solution I accidentally ripped off the ribbon cable off the power button chip. I would like to know how can i turn it on without it BloatLers to repair this you can replace the power button board and flex cable. Here are the instructions and the replacement part is available at places like this and many more. Unless you have a board schematic which would show what pads are responsible for the power on state, you cannot turn it on without replacing the defective parts....

Chosen Solution My printer has started to make a very loud crinkling noise and is missing part of printed field. Most recent document was only 40% visabje and not all aligned. In inspecting the rear opening, there is a very loose and damaged plastic sheet/roller cover that I see. Can it be fixed? @dgpagel ,Doug, 1st link is the HP support site where you may find a authorized service/support. 2nd link is a site that sells HP replacement parts and if you see the plastic sheet/roller you require for replacement click on it and a exploded parts view will come up which may aid in the installation if you want to attempt the repair....
Chosen Solution When i print from pc it prints all other colors but no black When i print print quality page it prints all text and lines but not that box where should be black I manually cleaned the print heads and it didn’t help at all I don’t want to do this anymore. I’ll just buy a new printer That looks interesting since the text and the lines of the boxes are being printed....

Chosen Solution Erased my SSD before installing a new macOS 10.14.3. The SSD can be booted as external drive. After mounted it as internal drive and attempted to boot it. Prohibit mark showed up, even original HDD was connected as external drive. Any clues? Usually a sign of a bad hard drive cable. Consider getting that replaced first. Try installing Mac OS Mojave via the USB install media method with the SSD installed in the internal drive bay and see how that goes....
Chosen Solution I work for a chitty repair shop and I am trying to set the story straight here on proper ESD safety procedures. Our main tech bench has the grounded mat on it, but we have a few other work areas that do not. Those other areas are used with these blue mats you see in the photo which do not have any grounding lead but I think the chinese package said they were ESD safe....

Chosen Solution My PS4 has been dropped and got slightly stepped on while moving furniture. The hard drive was slightly disconnected so I took the hard drive out and reconnected it. It turns on and says I must download the reinstallation program from a computer on to a flash drive. The PS4s disk drive is always jammed it will not pop out the disk in the ps. Unsure if it will play the disk until I get it running....
