Chosen Solution All of the numbers are fine until the thousands- hundred thousands Most likely the either the LCD display itself, or the printed circuit board has developed a crack, and some of the signals that drive the display have been interrupted. To inspect the printed circuit board, follow this guide (basically taking the rear cover off is all it takes). The LCD is not repairable. The printed circuit board may be repaired by someone who is reasonably skilled with a solder iron, the operation entails bridging the interrupted circuit tracks with pieces of thin copper wire....

Chosen Solution on and off switch wont turn on @racing821 start off by checking the power cable to make sure that you have power going to the player. Use a multimeter to check for that. If you do have power going to it, check the fuse on the power board for continuity. To disassemble your player follow these steps If unsure post some images of your board etc. with your question....

It sounds like you have a defective replacement screen. Did you replace it yourself or did you have it done at a shop? Here’s a couple of options: hook it up to an external monitor, if it works then the problems is isolated to the video cables and/or screen. Chosen Solution My new 1 TB SSD from Ifixit is not being recognized by my Mac. So I installed my original 251 GB SSD back and it booted fine, tried new 1 TB again and it still failed. I receive file folder icon with flashing “?”. Therefore, I then tried booting My MacBook Pro with “Command R” sequence and it only recognizes the factory installed 2 GByte MAC OS partition. I think the Ifixit drive is faulty....
