Chosen Solution I’m trying to replace my powerboard on a large Samsung flat screen. Of course it comes with warnings of death by shock and I’m in the mountains where the static electricity is higher than typical. By a lot. Hoping someone can talk me through this while my TV is currently taken apart splayed around house. I do not have a grounding wrist bracelet and am hoping there’s a GUARANTEED safe and simple way to do this....

Chosen Solution When it is full charge then I use it, the battery percentage stays at 100% for a while like 10-20 mins of usage then it goes to 99%, but the problem is when it is now 99% then I lock the phone and not use it for about 1 hour, the battery percentage drops to 87%, and then I used it a while again like 3 mins and it drops 86% then I locked it again and not use it again about an hour it drops again to 77%....

Chosen Solution I have now tried 2 different logic boards (a Core 2 Duo 1.83 and a 2.0) in a MacBook that I have, and both behave the exact same. They will only boot if I take out the LB, unplug the PRAM battery, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, and then get it all hooked back up. And even then, both of them would only boot once and then never boot again until I repeated the process....

Chosen Solution My furriol boiler keeps flashing F5, and am only getting hot water for a couple of seconds at a time, will i need to get a new boiler, or can this be fixed? Lindsey, not sure what boiler you have, the only info I got is for a Ferroli boiler. Again, there are numerous of those. If you can a model number would be helpful. On the Ferroli Optimax the F5 error code is: Fan problem • Tachometer signal interrupted, fan connection • Fan damaged, debris in fan Possible Solution • Check the wiring and fan • Check the fan, clean debris Hope this helps you to get started....

Chosen Solution Charge new battery but will not stay charged for more than an hour is that the norm. when they stayed charged the whole day phones are three years old Bob, the Panasonic does suffer from poor battery performance. It is a common complaint. You said staying charged for an hour, if that means that you can use it for an hour, that is actually pretty good. Anyhow, I would replace the battery one more time to make sure that the first battery pack was not of low quality....

Chosen Solution I went to replace my screen and now my phone won’t turn on at all. I put the clasps back on and turned my phone on to see if it would work and it did. I then put the screws in and tried turning it back on and nothing. I went to unscrew them again because I thought maybe one of the clasps came undone and while I was unscrewing one of them the screen turned on temporarily....

Chosen Solution i pulled it out wrong but instead of the port just breaking off the network card it stuck to the head of the cable, ive replaced the card but i cant get it in the port. see photo, the one on the left is the working one but the one on the right is the broken one currently with 2/3 connected wifi works but it wont connect to 5GHz networks....

Chosen Solution I was following your repair guide and reached the step to remove the white plastic upper case (step 27, iBook G4 14" 1.42 GHz Logic Board Replacement). Despite your warnings and my gentle touch, the socket for the power cable came off the logic board BEFORE the male plug for the blue and white wires came out of the female socket. Is there any way to fix this? If the logic board is otherwise ruined, I’d be willing to try to re-solder the broken socket or a replacement onto it – after all, what do I have to lose?...

Chosen Solution my 2005 equinox cooling fan wount come on my equinox runs hot so iv changed the thirostat it still runs hot Hi there. Did you check to make sure that your fan assembly is working? May be wire it directly to the battery to test it out to make sure that it is working. Also I believe that your model has a Radiator fan relay. You might want to replace that as well....

Have you tried going to a mobile phone repair shop to see how much they charge to replace the charging port? It’s fairly easy to do in my opinion. Chosen Solution My mac display is at the highest brightness setting. It is about 5 years old, and I’m wondering if there is a bulb or something wearing out. If so, can it be replaced? The inverter board is the part which needs to be replaced, a search finds them running about $130 dollars. If you want an Apple ADC display, it may be less expensive and less work to find a replacement display on eBay or Craigslist....

Chosen Solution My phone was low battery (20%) before I went into work so I plugged into a fully charged portable battery, turned the phone off, and went into work. After 7 hours I came back to my car and tried to turn on my phone. Instead of turning on it flashed a red light once (same LED as “the phone is dying” light) for about two seconds. I’ve had it unplugged from the charger, my phone felt cold so I assumed it might be too low of a temperature or something and it’s been over an hour of the same response whenever I try to power up....

Chosen Solution My power was working just fine, but now it won’t. It’s lose. Idk what to do. Actually. It’s easier to just replace the back cover in terms of repairability. well if it is loose then either the button has to be replace or the frame in which the button is in needs to be replaced. Hopefully it is just the button has worn down over time and that is all you need....

Chosen Solution I’ve found a guide to replace the loudspeaker on iPhone 6s, but what I really need is a guide to just get at the loudspeaker grill/mesh. I dropped my 6s in BBQ sauce (yes, it’s funny) and now there are sticky crusty bits of BBQ sauce distorting my favorite tunes. There are A LOT (25+) steps involved in replacing the speaker. All I need to do is get at that mesh so I can clean it properly....

When apps are downloaded they are basically attached to the Apple ID (email address) that was used to purchase/download them. This is the Apple ID that is required in order to update those individual apps....
