Chosen Solution My fully working A1106 1.67Ghz Powerbook has a dead RAM slot- I sourced a replacement tested logic board (very cheap!) but since discovered it is for an A1138 model. Is this at all compatible with the 1106? -TIA Sadly, I doubt anyone would have tried that still active here on iFixit. Here’s the guides: A1106A1138 I would review them to see what’s different.
Chosen Solution I recovered my Sonos Connect (2013) sleeping beauty from the basement (I did not try to kiss it) and wanted to set it up again from scratch, with the S1 app. I factory-reset it, rebooted it, but the app cannot find it. I tried with the app on the iPhone and iPad. Sonos support says the bluetooth must be broken, I can get a voucher for a discount on a new one....

Check the connection at the ECM for corrosion and clean If theres still no Joy break out the test light and multi meter and start looking for a short....
Chosen Solution My Kenmore elite he3 wont start runing Check the line voltage and for blown fuses. Check for voltage going to Central Control Unit (CCU) by listen ing for a click in the CCU when unit is plugged in. If no click replace CCU. Unplug the unit before continuing. Check continuity of line cord and line filter. Check harness connections to CCU. Check touch-pad/LED assembly. Unplug it for 5 minutes....

I push the power button and it blinks four times this may help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02Re-UmG… @hardheaded Samsung has a series that was plagued by bad capacitors which can cause the 4 blinks. You do have to tell us what model your TV is and remove the back of your TV. Then check the power board and look at the caps. See if they are domed looking or leaking....

Chosen Solution My vizio looks like puzzle pieces on the screen. I still have audio and video in a small part. Bad panel? Update (06/30/2018) E500i-b1 puzzle pieces has sound and can see the menu. Based upon the picture provided, the panel is broken. This is only repairable by replacing the panel. ‘’’++James P++’’’ could be or bad main board etc. We need to know what model your Vizio is and see what you see....
Chosen Solution I have a 1237 MacBook air. How similar are the mobos compared to a newer one? I really want more than 2gb of ram lol Well, nothing is impossible, however this would take far (FAR!) more work than the payoff would be worth. The newer logic board is quite a bit wider than the original, thanks to ports on both sides of the computer. The fan is in a different location, the LVDS (display) connection is likely different and is on the opposite side, the Airport card & antennas are in a much different location, the battery connections are in different locations, etc, etc… With the small space of the MacBook Air this would be far beyond impractical to pull off....

Not much you can do, since all points to a hardware issue that needs a microsoldering repair where skills and tools are needed. If the iPhone was dropped in the past or the audio IC was previously repaired that would explain the why, although it would not change the picture....

Chosen Solution I have a vizio m4221 picture dark….brightness all the way @ 100% phunkyp that let us know the exact model of your TV and post some images of what your display shows. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. Ultimately it sounds like a backlight issues which could be a problem with the power board as well as the panel (backlight array). Remove the back of your set and check for obvious damage like domed or leaking capacitors etc....
