It was charging fine, but when i went to unplug it, it was hot on the back side and wouldn’t turn on. I tried resetting it but no go. I connected via usb and tried a reset, no go. Chosen Solution So this will be the second Lens/LCD assembly we’ve ordered for this device due to the first replacement screen cutting off randomly and getting hot while turned on/charging/post testing device. So we ordered a new Lens/LCD assembly expecting a defective part on the first go. Round two, I’ve made sure to move all the protective tapes from the old screen to the new assembly and any other pieces of components that were in the old screen but not the new one....

Chosen Solution Just tested my dead iMac Intel dual 2.4Ghz PSU. It currently doesn’t boot, no signs of life. After looking at the pinout voltages on here I see pin 8 should read 12V. I have the 3.6V on pin 5 but no 12V rail. Is it likely the PSU is shot. I had somebody elese test it and they said it was OK but I am wary of their motives....
Chosen Solution I reset the pram, reset the PMU, cannot boot in single user mode, do not have reinstall disk. I have scoured the internet to find several people having the same problem, and have never come across a resolution. I believe it is some form of corrupted system files. Guess I will buy the OSX disk and see if that does the trick- my last viable option. Has anyone had this problem and actually resolved it?...
Chosen Solution Nothing happens when pressing power button or using a power supply cable with ON/OFF button. Only thing is when I plug in a charger it will draw 2A right away. Removed the tristar and the mosfet and then I found a short on PP1v8_SDRAM. Reading online that short is very difficult to solve. Any advice? Nothing heats up when injecting 1.8V on that line, unfortunately. The most common cause of 1V8_SDRAM shorts for me on the 7 plus were....

Chosen Solution just bought this item online no sound or sound for the headset. the face plate was changed to white. probably means it was dropped alot in the process of changing the face plate the speaker got messed up somehow. help please dont know what to do Look inside. If the speaker is missing, then that is a problem. Also, check if the headphone jack has anything in it. If it does, that can cause problems....

Chosen Solution I have a Skoozie Beaver that when you squeeze it makes about 12 different cute noises….it recently stopped working. Is there any way to repair it? The button that you squeezed could have a pulled out unsolder wire, or the speaker is burnt out or has an unsolder wire, you’ll have to take it apart to find out.
