Switch off the camcorder (if it is on) and then disconnect the power from the camcorder’s battery pack (if connected) and then remove the battery pack. Remove the backup batteries from the camcorder and then turn on the camcorder for 10 seconds to drain any residual power from the camcorder....

If you are sure there is a radio signal in your area, but still aren’t hearing it, the antennae is likely damaged....
Chosen Solution i attempted to repair my digitizer and though it does come on, it is very dark You need to do a hard reset. Hold down power and home button for 20 sec. Hope it helps. Chosen Solution Just replaced the battery (easy - great kit! from IFixIt). However, after powering my computer back up I noticed the magsafe light going from orange to green, then to orange… repeats endlessly. System Information says the battery is not charging. I tried resetting PRAM and SMC, but I keep getting the same problem. I opened the computer again, disconnected the battery, connected it again, same problem… tried resetting PRAM and SMC again… the problem wouldn’t go away....
