Ive tried everything to try and fix it, like a tooth pick on the bottom of the optical switch but nothing happens. Chosen Solution My iMac has a Seagate drivel model number st3500418AS. Here on ifixit.com, there are only 2 options for brands on the internal HD replacement. WD and Hitachi. I am very hesitant to buy these because I have seen youtube videos demonstrating the difference between the WD and my Seagate drives with regards to the thermal sensor that is specific to 2010 and 2011 iMacs. However; I do not know if the Hitachi drive is compatible regarding same thermal sensor....

Chosen Solution The screen on my tablet consistently turns black, but it is still on. I’m not sure whether it’s a problem with the screen control or the screen itself, but everything still functions. The only way I’ve managed to revert it to normal by hitting the back on my hand a couple of times. And even then, shortly after, it blanks out again. It even blanks out in startup, but not at any specific time period....

Chosen Solution My washer will fill with water and start the washing processes for a few minutes then it just stops. It wont drain, spin, or anything. Ive already tried bypassing the lid switch. Chosen Solution My home button has been erratic for awhile, rarely requiring a second click before the iPod responds and takes me to my homescreen. Suddenly, the home button stopped working at all. Out of desperation, I decided to press on it again and again, and after 30 - 50 presses, it will bring me back to the homescreen. I hope I’m not further damaging my iPod! This iPod is only 4 months beyond the 1-year warranty, and I would rather not spend the $200 + that Apple estimated it would cost to send in and repair....
Chosen Solution Just installed a new battery into my laptop and the battery indicator is flashing orange.. the bios screen says “battery not present”. Laptop does boot the laptop but it won’t charge. tried multiple power adapters. OK this has been solved.. When the replacement battery came in also not able to communicate i suspected a change in the firmware.. This laptop was on the latest A24 so i downgraded it to A14....
Chosen Solution Hello, I have replaced my broken screen with a new one and I still have no screen, what else can cause the screen to be completely black? I can tap, I can hear sound coming out from the device. Did you disconnect the battery prior to removing and installing the replacement screen? Not doing so can cause the backlight filter to blow and the iPhone 6S is particularly prone to this issue....
Chosen Solution This is a first for me with this issue. My system is alive and will take a charge from any plain old USB-C cable that is not an official Nintendo branded one. It will also not dock or charge on the dock. I know both the Power, HDMI cable and the dock work as I just had another switch in there that worked fine. The pins in the charging port on the Switch honestly look completely fine....
