Chosen Solution My shift key is stuck and keeps booting into safe boot. How can I not boot into safe boot while the shift key is pressed? If it’s just a temporary solution to grab some files or make a backup what you’re looking for and you have an external keyboard available you might disconnect from the logic board both keyboard flat cable and battery connector. With that setup when you plug in the magsafe the Mac will boot by itself without the need for a power button....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’m trying to replace a part on my macbook pro 2011. It is located at the back of the laptop, between the logic board and the screen hinge. I can only describe it as a “grid” where which the air flows out of the laptop. I think it serves as protection at the back of the laptop. Pictures attached for better reference. I have tried looking at videos of full teardowns of the MBP 2011 and I wasn’t able to find a single video where the part was there....

Chosen Solution I upgraded a Toshiba NB205-N210 netbook with 2 Gig of ram and a 500 Gig SSD. Is there any way I can upgrade the Atom CPU? Sorry, no you can’t. Not really worth it with the RAM limitation. And, hey, it’s 11 years old. I have the ACER Aspire One and it is the same problem.

Chosen Solution After pushing the start button, my mac gives 9 beeping (S.O.S. signal) the screen is black. No booting, fans are working but the keyboard is frozen. Chosen Solution Short history of recent problems on my trusty ole iMac. Six months ago had a OS crash on Tiger. No original install disks so I removed the original 250GB HDD and installed a new WD 640GB HDD successfully. Now I installed Leopard on this drive. Shortly after this I stated to have KP and freezes. Then I would have to restart the iMac 2 or 3 times to get it to boot - make the “bong” sound to start up....

Just press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You can let go of both buttons after the Apple logo appears. Chosen Solution I have a Macbook pro 13" mid 2010 that I believe to have a faulty connection between the GPU and the logic board due to over heating. I’m wondering if anyone that has re-flowed one of these could give me an idea of the temps required to fully melt the solder. Chosen Solution I have a oil leak coming out of the drain tube from water pump ,thinking it may be coming through seal around water pump shaft , there is no sign of coolant in engine oil this on a Brute force 650 4x4i , 2006 It sounds highly likely that you are correct on the bad seal or gasket (not limited to the water pump shaft). If the oil pressure is higher than the coolant pressure that would explain no coolant in the oil....
