Chosen Solution I was in an emergency situation where i needed to charge my smartphone and i only have a broken usb wire and a mirco usb conncetor. I connected the positive and negitive wires to the pins on microusb connector. it worked fine for a few seconds but unluckily the positive wire slipped and connected to one of data pins. The phone turned off. Now as soon as i insert the battery the phone blinks every time i press power buttton and led light turns on or blink in 2 different colors....

Chosen Solution Link to pic on ifixit The part I am having trouble with is in the upper right of the ipod in this picture next to the gold/white bullseye looking thing. I am guessing water damage since there are burn marks on the inside of the case where this part rests but it’s a good inch away from the rear camera hole, where I would think water would get in so I’m unsure if that’s what it is or if this is repairable at all....

Chosen Solution I have to press incredibly hard on the power/lock button for it to work (it clicks ok when I press it lightly, but that’s about all). Can you tell me if it’s the cable or button which needs replacing? You need the cable it’s never the button

Chosen Solution My laptop will only turn on if its plugged in. The power light comes on but I have to keep messing with the button and charger cord for the.screen to actually come on but it doesn’t stay on. Looks like a glitch then goes out. It was given to me so I’m not sure of any previous problems or what may have caused this. Hi, Since the laptop is not being kept operating by the charger, from your description it seems as though the Dc-In jack (where you plug the charger into the laptop) may be either faulty or loose from the motherboard....

Chosen Solution 3ds was dropped, power, 3d light and wifi light come on but games and screen will not. Wifi chip was disconnected. I took it apart,reinserted the chip and its good to go. Sounds like you may have a loose connection on the inside. Check youtube for videos on how to open the 3DS and check the connections.

Chosen Solution While replacing the battery on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition the disk fell off the power contacts. I held it in place with a corner of tape from over the battery plug. This worked well. My question, The factory style tape over the buttons has to be available somewhere. I’m unsure of what the proper name may be and as it is not specific to certain models of phones or tablets where would I search....

Chosen Solution printer blue light flashing it dose the startup sequence but nothing els and the touch screen is off hi turn on printer then unplug the power source then click each printer release button but don’t take them out. this may be hard if the cover is over them but still possible. plug back in and wait it should tell you that the cartridges are not installed then click all back in good luck regards rik...

Chosen Solution when i try to switch on my ipad apple logo comes home screen comes and then it switches off by itself. This could be caused by a dead battery. Did this start happening all of a sudden or was it following a drop or repair? Either way, this iPad will have to be opened. iPads are not the easiest device to troubleshoot and you will likely need to get a replacement battery to properly test the device....

Chosen Solution My whirlpool dishwasher DU915PWPB0 is not spraying properly. The tub fills with water however when i watch it through the wash cycle the sprayers will only spray the water a few inches and the top spray arm does not work at all. I have disassembled the pump assembly to make sure there were no clogs or debris. There was not. Could this be the pump/motor that needs replacing? Is this a common problem with dishwashers?...

Chosen Solution I’ve been trying to put some shows on an old phone to take on a trip south. iOS and the app is updated fully. The dl completes normally and appears fine for a few seconds, then appears as an amber ! saying the download failed. It tells me it is error 10016-24006. I have tried finding a solution on the Netflix help. Has anyone else had this problem? We have the package where you can download onto 2 devices although the ss I’ve seen with that issue it tells you that you’ve maxed the # of screens....

Chosen Solution I have the same problem. I check the output of the charger and I got 6.2 volts (the charger says the output is 5.2v). I remove the back panel and check again the charging port with the charger attached and there’s a 6.2 v reading, but when I checked the battery terminals, there is no measurement at all. Based on the test that I made, I conclude that the problem lies in the circuitry between the charging port and the battery terminals....

Chosen Solution recently i have updated my lumia 625 with 8.1 OS. after 5 days it stopped working and since then it is showing No SIM error. Chosen Solution I got a device from a friend. The device didn´t start at all. Hard Rest…… Then I plugged a charged battery in and it booted to springboard. But the phone does not detect any USB connection. Even in DFU mode, my iMac doesn´t detect the phone. There were 3 missing caps near the battery connector. I replaced these. I checked the voltage on any component that is a need for USB detection and charging but all fine....

Chosen Solution Hi, LED #4 RED is on after 2 minutes after start a machine. Computer shutting off after LED 4 on red. Could not possible to run ASD. Chosen Solution I replaced my IPhone 7 plus screen and it worked. However the touch button wasn’t seated properly so I reopened and re-seated. Now, I remember when reading on the screen replacement manual that came with it “make sure to disconnect battery before working or guaranteed failure” to that effect. But because I was in a rush this time i dont think i disconnected the battery prior to removing the screen....

Chosen Solution I have restored it many times and it has the same error. My mac detects it, but only when the screen is on. It only stays on for 8 seconds no matter what. (Even if I’m touching the screen or pressing home button.) It could be a broken Teperaturesensor. If you are lucky it is the one in the Battery, so if it is possible, try another battery.

Chosen Solution I accidentally dropped my charger cable on my iPhone 6 which caused the screen to crack and go dark blue then black and now it’s totally unresponsive. I’m currently on holiday in France and I took the phone to a repair shop but the repairman said there was “no solution”. I’m just confused because the crack isn’t that big and yet it’s caused the entire phone to switch down....

Chosen Solution I replaced my phone screen for the iPhone 6, did everything just fine (Ive installed many phone screens). I go to turn it on after letting it charge for a while before hand, and nothing happens. So I try a hard reset. Still nothing. I plug it into iTunes, screen is still black, but it shows up in iTunes? But, when I take it on and off the charger, no charging noise occurs whether on vibrate or the sound is on....
