Chosen Solution my screen has color lines all over the screen how do i fix it , do i change the digitizer or the lcd when i take pictures or screenshots it looks good. Because your screen is cracked, it is interfering with the display. I do not know if you screen (digitizer) is fuzed with the display (screen). You will need a replacement of both. If I where you, I would go to eBay and buy the parts with the best reveiws....

Chosen Solution I changed my screen two days ago because of a cracked screen. I already bought not the cheapest replacement kit I could find. Installing the new screen went great. But I noticed that the screen brightness wouldn’t adjust automatically after that. I tried everything I could find online, from re-calibrating the brightness sensor, to turn the feature off, and soft reset the phone. I did not try to reset all my settings because that’s what I’d like to keep....

Chosen Solution A few weeks ago my laptop got wet, so I put it in rice for 2 days and it started working again. A week later, it will no longer charge, but the laptop flashes on but will not turn on because it has no charge. After disconnecting the battery, the phone may have been on when the battery was disconnected, then removing the LCD (note, the LCD was not removed while the battery was connected), I have been unable to get any image whatsoever on the screen. The phone boots up and I can hear sounds like Siri etc. I know the touch screen works because I was able to power it down. However I am getting a blank LCD screen. No signs of screen power at all. Chosen Solution When I answer my phone, no one can hear me and NO the MUTE feature isn’t on. Hi, Try connecting the earphones with the microphone attachment to the phone and then make or answer a call. If you cannot be heard using this method there is a problem with the voice transmission circuitry in the phone, which would involve a repair/replacement of the systemboard. If you can be heard using this method it proves that the voice transmission circuitry is OK but there is a problem with the microphone in the phone....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced the display on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) with Touch Bar and now the keyboard backlight is not adjusting automatically in low light. I’ve tried manually adjusting the keyboard backlight and there is no response. Rob Salamone, I would start by replacing the battery as well as the screen. It is possible that you have a damaged battery charging circuit and that is what heats up your phone....

Chosen Solution Why would my hot water tank not be getting power Use a multimeter and test the breaker box then the electrical wall outlet. If it is working, you probably have a loose or disconnected wire. Great care should be taken when looking or testing for it. I would unplug it and start testing for continuity of the input wires. Chosen Solution I coworker gave me a tablet to repair from a brand I’ve never worked with before and is not listed in the IFixit Database. Its a “TeClast TPad X98 Air 3G” It looks like a standard 10" tablet running Android with an Intel Processor according to the boot screen. The outer glass is fine, the LCD is fine but it looks like the digitizer between the two is cracked and there is limited touch screen functionality....

Chosen Solution I can hear the paper getting ready to print but i get the error signal. I have to take out the cartridge to get the paper out and have to tug pretty hard to get it out. I saw the answer to a jam question bout taking the machine apart and cleaning it but didn’t know if my issue might be a little different most of the time this problem is caused by dirty or faulty rollers....

Chosen Solution I have never had a problem with this machine until 2 months ago when it began to crash badly (black screen) and frequently. I found one answer – to disable switching between ordinary graphics and hi quality graphics. I disabled the switching so that the hi quality graphics is always in use and the crashing went nearly to zero. I also disconnected the 2nd monitor I was using. But I am still experiencing random seeming crashes and the reports seem to indicate graphics problems....

Have no idea why; I haven’t even backedup that many times so it’s got plenty of space. I’ve tried different outlets, also subbed in the power cable from my older MyBook Studio, all to no avail! This is especially maddening since I have many externals, one from 2006 even, that I no longer use but still powers up!...
