Likely no, it’s not repairable, but it depends on what was damaged, since unless you opened the phone to check, I never trust that just because something is working, liquid isn’t on it somewhere. Chosen Solution hey. im jeffrey from kenya. my keyboard stopped working abruptly and yet it is in perfect condition. what might be the problem? im currently using windows 10 Uninstalling the graphics tablet driver solved the issue. the problem was caused by a software conflict, not hardware, as i thought. Anybody using windows 10 and has the same problem should try doing the same. Hi Jeffrey, If the keyboard has completely stopped working, disassemble the laptop and lift up the keyboard to check and see if the ribbon cable as come unplugged....

Chosen Solution My ps3 freezes up about 3 to 5 mins after i start playing. I get no yellow light or any errors all it does is stay frozen which forces me to do a hard boot. I have opened it to clean it out but it still does the same thing. Sometimes after the hard boot it will seem fine. Any idea what could be the problem and how i can fix it....

Chosen Solution For a few days, my ipad has been failing to rotate. The orientation lock to rotate it is off. I have backed it up, shut it down. Force reset. I dont really know what to do. Can anyone give me any directions on what to do? Like even on YouTube or games it wont let me. If the Portrait Orientation Lock is turned off and you have tried to hard reset (Home & Power Button for ~10 secs) your device already, then the issue may be on the logic board....

Chosen Solution I have a Lenovo B590 and because of a bios password, I have been locked down of the bios. Can anyone help me? You can’t remove cmos battery to solve the problem. The password is stored in a separate chip on the motherboard and only an expert can know how to reprogramme or to remove the password If you remove the Bios battery for 10 sec it will restor Bios to original, with no password activate....

Chosen Solution Just installed new digitizer/glass purchased from iFixit. New screen is not recognizing finger touch. Help! The only thing I can recommend is to double check the connector is properly seated in its slot. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to push it in the right way. You can verify if after you lock it in place it offers resistance if you gently try to remove it or just slides out easily....

Chosen Solution Full power. Turns on logo briefly flashes on screen but then goes blank. Sound is normal and image can be seen with a flashlight. Seems as though the LEDs aren’t illuminating. @hajjissa “image can be seen with a flashlight” is a backlight error. This could be related to the LCD’s (unlikely) for that check on here. Check the power board for any leaking or domed looking caps as well....

Chosen Solution When I turn on the unit, either via remote or the power button on the unit, you hear a clicking sound, but the unit does not power up. @drrickc, check to see if you can still get your unit into diagnostics mode. Starting DIAG Press the “STANDBY/ON” key while simultaneously pressing those two keys of the main unit as indicated in the image below. If it does not, you will have to open your amp up and check the fuses on the main board....

It doesn’t say searching, it just says no signal, but when I’m near an antenna I have just one line of network, so very low. The phone has been reset but it doesn’t seem to work with any SIM card I’ve tried(EE , VODAFONE , O2 , 3) when trying to activate the phone I get the same prompt telling me there’s “no SIM card installed, please enter a valid working sim” . Chosen Solution I have to move the connection cord at the unit. could it be the connector to the GPS and how can it be repaired???? @can77 , Carlos, you should try another charger if possible to rule out the charge cable end/plug being the problem. I am pretty sure the charge port will be soldered to the logic board and if loose,you may be able to or have a computer/cell repair shop resolder the port back on board....

Chosen Solution Dropped my phone in salt water and there is sand in the charging receptacle. It won’t charge. Seems to be fine otherwise. Can I get it cleaned? So it will charge salt water can cause alot of issues with phones, take it to a repair shop to get it checked over and get the charge port replaced
