Chosen Solution replaced the battery and might have broken the flex cable between the power and volume buttons would that explain why it wont turn on? phone shows charging but is unresponsive to button input. The power + volume flex needs to be replaced if it has been damaged. That’s possible i would try a different battery if you have one and then go to the flex cable. Usually you can see the damage to that unless it’s one of the contacts....

B Ben , The noise you heard could have been a few things, see if you blew a hydraulic clutch line(there should be evidence of a fluid leak), clutch pedal cage/hanger breaking/weld let go/cracking (look up under dash, press clutch pedal in and out and watch for not normal movement of bracketing (which should not move at all), check to see if clutch slave cylinder casting broke or pin jumped out of fork, release bearing/fork damaged, pressure plate springs/diaphragm broke, etc....

I hard discharged the battery, removed the tape on the POWER button and plugged it in and… LED still slowly blinks orange/amber. When the LED is green the battery charge is between 95% and 100% and the AC power is on. The orange/amber LED indicates that the battery power is below 95%, and the AC power is on....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro’s headphones jack is not working properly. Any headphones or speakers connected to the laptop using that jack makes no sound. However, it is able to detect the headphones when inserted (when I check System Preferences > Sounds and Audio MIDI Setup, it’s there). The mic also functions properly, e.g. the mic on the EarPods works well. Any chance this can still be worked on without handing it in for repair at the Apple Store?...
