Chosen Solution I opened my laptop. The keyboard wasn’t working, it wasn’t registering anything. I figured it may have been because it wasn’t updated yet and the mousepad still worked, so i clicked on Update & Restart. as it was restarting it said it ran into an error, the laptop would restart on its own. then the screen flashed black and, along with two other messages i didn’t have time to read, it said “Keyboard not registered”....

Chosen Solution I have drained the battery and done all the steps provided by most basic Google help has suggested, but my laptop still will not turn on. Heeeelp!!!! I don’t care if I have to reformat my laptop after, I just want my laptop to turn on Dont know what you’ve tried but lets start with the basics and work out from there . Chosen Solution But if you plug in the charger you can get it going. Also it sometimes shows that the lms is stopped. Any advice ? Robert Moore before doing anything else, get a new battery. That way you have at least a known-well starting point since it does sound like a power issue.

Chosen Solution when i plug my phone in u can hear a noise but nothing pops up on the screen and when i unplug it turns off. What happened to the phone recently; was it dropped, damaged or repaired? Based on your description, it sounds like the backlight may not be working. When you connect the phone to an iTunes enabled computer, is it recognized? If it is, then immediately shine a very bright flashlight on the screen....

Chosen Solution My Samsung s5, when I turn it on, it will display Samsung Galaxy s5 and then turn off by itself and again turn on and turn off continuously until I remove the battery. What can be done to it? What should I do? This sounds like an issue with the motherboard on the phone. Generally speaking problems like this are often a chip level issue where advanced repair is required and is rarely worth fixing, especially if the phone is older....

Chosen Solution i have 5 ipod nano’s 2gen all work when plugged into power only! help So they work when connected to USB and sync without difficulty? Sounds to me like you need new batteries. Of course only if there is not other damage I would start with that. Good luck and let us know.

Chosen Solution I’m trying to fix a hedge trimmer. I’m not new to fixing things, but replacing components is new for me. The busted capacitor is this one but I seem to only find them in bulk. I know a similar capacitor would do just fine, but I’m unsure of how to determine if another capacitor is a good replacement and I don’t want to how anything up (this time). Chosen Solution Hi There! Im new to the forums but looking for help with my security cameras. I have old security cameras on my house hard wired via low volatage (network cabling it looks like) to a central multi-channel power supply in my bedroom closet. I want to replace the cameras with Nest Cam IQ Outdoor cameras, so I purchased one to see what I could do. My hope was I could splice the included USB-C cable to my existing low voltage wires, supply the correct voltage at the multi-channel power supply box and be on my way....

Chosen Solution Installed a new Toshiba 500 GB HD from ifixit. It shows up as a 1 TB HD and will not allow me to erase or partition it from the original start up disc, nor tiger, nor snow leopard. Says input/output error. I’m a noob-trying to save this thing. I replaced the HD 4 years ago with no problems. Did I get a bad HD or is it something else?...

Chosen Solution The A channel or left speaker has no sound. The needle gives a small spike. The right or channel B side plays good. Also the overload light is on no matter where the volume is set. When I plug my earphones in the pre-amp both sides play good. But my speakers are plugged in the power amp and only one side plays. Help !!!!!!!!! Hi, Don’t know your tablet but check if there is a setting called Touch and Hold delay (or similar) in the Settings area of the tablet, to see if altering the adjustment setting resolves the problem. On a lot of tablets it is located in Settings > Accessibility or perhaps Settings > Language and Input It may also be that the digitizer (touchscreen) flex cable connection is loose or that the touchscreen is starting to fail and needs to be replaced....

Chosen Solution Machine vibrates excessively when in spin cycle either with or without clothes in washer. Already checked adjustments of feet on bottom of washer and they are in correct adjustment and locknuts are tight.What will cause machine to vibrate excessively in spin cycle and clothes are in balance? Chosen Solution Hello, I recently dropped my phone into the ground. The screen poped off and turns on but spases out couple of days later it got fixed, but if you grab it it spasses out . pictures and video is available. You’ll need to get the screen replaced to fix that. But before doing so I recommend taking a look at the battery first and make sure it’s not expanded as that will stop a replacement screen from being fitted in....

Chosen Solution The other day charging my phone, my phone charger ended up burning my charging chip inside my HTC M8. The phone still works but when attempting to turn it on, the phone just keeps showing it is at 0% even with multiple different tries using different chargers. Looking inside the charging slot you can clearly see the chip is toasted. Is this replaceable and or fixable? I rather fix it, even if it’s by someone else than to buy an entire new phone....
