Chosen Solution Hi, recently my directv satellite took a direct lighting strike which sent a surge through the co ax through the surge protector and to the tv. It blew the hdmi ports black on the tv and I had to install a new mother board on the tv it blew the directv box, the century link box, the printer and you guessed my ps4 as well. The surge protector was a gaming type which I payed a decent dollar for but it blew that black as well, I called them and they said no surge protector can ever withstand a direct lighting strike basically saying im S*** out of luck....
Chosen Solution Hi everyone, my Oneplus One power button doesn’t seem to work anymore so I can’t turn it off or reset or anything. I keep it charged and use it anyway. I removed the back cover and tried pushing the real button under the plastic one but it doesn’t work either.. (the volume one works fine this way) Is there a way to repair it without voiding warranty? I’m also waiting for the assistence to respond to my ticket....

Chosen Solution Only go in reverse? What do I do ? Michelle if the ebrake is locked in the on position the only recourse is to remove the drums and repair the siezed cable . When im faced with this problem I find its best to cut of the cable where it goes into the drum and work the cable into the drum to free up the brake enough to get the old drum off ....
Chosen Solution Helo. When I turn on my Laptop it start to work because I see the lights on and the fan is working, and the hard drive too. But I don’t see nothing in the screen, only white screen, but no black. I took everything out to cleaned the fan, then I put thermal past on the CPU and Graphic. Chosen Solution I have three Panasonic batteries for this camera, while checking them before a shoot only the second one worked. The camera turned on and said the battery had 2/3 bars. Okay yeah, checked the third and once again no life. I checked the second one again and… Nothing. The camera didn’t turn on. I’ve spent about 24 hours charging all three batteries so they are fully charged and still nothing....
Chosen Solution I have done the flashlight test. I shined a flashlight through the Apple logo and can see the login screen. I have reset the PRAM and the SMC to no avail. Not really sure what else to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :D Since this model has a LED-backlit TFT active-matrix display the problem could be the controller or the display. I keep finding the Ambient Sensor but it looks too short, which makes me think that is the cable that is attached to the left fan. I need the long sensor that routes to the top of the LCD display. However, in the process, I teared the camera flex cable a bit and now the back camera doesn’t work, it stays on black, doesn’t freeze the console. I guess due to a health problem I have for some time my head isn’t where it has to be since it’s the first time I tear a flex cable Replacing the cameras is a bit more difficult, althought for me the most difficult part would be being able to put the screen back without any dust particle inside....

Lightning is very unpredictable. It may have entered via the USB, ethernet or power cables. This really needs a pro who knows how to write up an insurance claim report on it. Chosen Solution Hi all, hoping for some inspiration from someone! Got an iPhone 6 which was working fine in every respect except it had the Searching/No Signal issue. No IMEI from #06 and no Carrier entry in Settings, so I went ahead and removed the baseband ic to fit 2 jumpers. I got really good soldered points on the vias for the 2 jumpers and was pleased with the result; I then covered the area with green curable solder mask, cured it until rock hard, cleaned up the pads on the BGA and re-fitted the baseband chip....
Chosen Solution Hi folks, has anyone had any trouble with MacBook Pro not waking out of sleep after the upgrade to a hybrid SSD HD? Have reset the SMC and NVRAM and unchecked the “set HD to sleep when possible” but the issue still persists. Rest of HD install went fine after cloning original drive. Any suggestions would be great. Hi,, Do you still get the message if you run the tablet with the charger connected and switched on? If you can enter the tablet OK, go to Apps > Settings > System > About tablet. You should find the model information of the tablet listed there. Try starting the tablet in safe mode (hopefully this procedure will work on your model) and check if the problem is still there....
Chosen Solution Every night I put my computer to sleep, but when I wake it up the next day, it turns on, but the monitors don’t display anything, but its awake as once I had a youtube video playing and when i woke it up it started and it was playing. I just hit the reset button and after it boots up just fine, until it goes to sleep again and then the problem happens again....
