Chosen Solution I dropped it from 2nd floor, and the button is where it should be but wouldn’t get itdelf to work. Any solutions? The button you push is just a mechanical device that depresses an actuator inside the device. A second floor drop is pretty high and probably cause some damage internally. It could be the button flex which tore or damaged the soldered connections. Ideally, you will have to open it to inspect the internals to see what happened....

Chosen Solution I have done hundreds of these installs and have never seen this issue. I can watch movies, surf the web, do pretty much anything that keeps the phone “awake.” However, anytime I let the screen go blank/timeout/idle (whichever you call it), it turns itself off after a few minutes. I installed the battery last night and was able to surf reddit for a few hours, then upon letting the phone go to sleep it turned itself off after a few minutes....

Picture one shows a catch on the inner base that holds the cup in place tight when blending. Picture two shows a little release lever on the back side, push down on it and twist cup at same time and it should get cup off no problem....

Chosen Solution Got a Mac Mini in for the fan connector replacement which has been replaced, however the wires going into the power button from the logic board have been pulled off by the customer when fitting the dual hard drive enclosure. I’d like to strip and resolder the wires to the power button PCB, but could anyone confirm which wire goes where (black and a grey one), since I haven’t got another one to hand, and it’s possible they are in the wrong position....

You can cause more problems than you will solve in trying to open and repair the socket in the sealed module....

Chosen Solution I bought a new battery for my MacBook Pro mid 2010 from ifixit . The original battery would charge but not hold it. The new battery after replacement will not charge at all. Is there anything that can be done, did I miss a step in how to reset charging ? The computer works while plugged in, but does not charge the battery. If you have tried an SMC and NVRAM reset, and the battery icon does not show an X (so it recognises a battery is plugged in), it will be a faulty battery....

Chosen Solution So I have replaced the digitizer on a iPad mini 3 and now there is no power, or sound. I plug it into my computer and nothing. It worked before I replaced the digitizer and now nothing. I have tried to replace the lcd, and replaced the digitizer with another one as well and still nothing. Chosen Solution So I just swapped th logic board of a 6 plus and now it either says No Sim. Or when I restart it with a sim it will just keep saying Searching. I’ll take the sim out and it’ll say the same thing and I’ll put it back and it’s the same. Already tried different sims, different trays, blowing out sim slot. The laptop still work normally, except when I putting my hand right to the touchpad there will be noise which is really annoying.
