Chosen Solution I have a master charger BCA24 for my car it’s a 12 Volt, 2,7amp , I plugged it in to the mains and attached it to my car battery and left it for 24 hours, it did charge the battery as the car started, but the charger was off when I checked it which was surprising, and now when I plug the charger in it no longer works. It has a 10amp fuse which did blow once before, my fault for attaching it incorrectly, but this time it has not blown, the device is supposed to have a 5 amp so not sure what difference this would make if I put in a 10 amp instead....

It was replaced with a cheap Hong Kong charger…. but the iPod seemed to not be charging after that, so it was left alone for years. Like I said, it was sitting around for years. This could be an host of issues any one of which can cause this so lets start with the basic. remove the laptop battery and disconnect the power then hold down the power button for 60 seconds. Then reinstall the battery and plug in the power and boot the laptop. If it works it was a case of static discharge if there is no joy lets move on to the ram ....

Could just be my old eyes but the caps under the heatsink look a bit discolored and the thermal paste on the FET looks different than the others....
Chosen Solution I recently had an issue with my Vive Cosmos controller where one of the buttons began to stick and I have been unable to find any tear downs or other such guides for these controllers. Can anyone provide me with this information? I managed to somewhat fix the issue by pouring IPA down in to the button and exercising it until it wasn’t as bad but I feel this is only a temporary solution....

I powered it up today and it won’t show any available wifi networks, just a symbol for an Ethernet cable with a red “x” on the bottom of the screen. I’ve tried everything from resetting my network connections but nothing is working and I need the wifi up and running as soon as possible! Unsure if I should buy a wireless adapter to fix this problem (even though connecting to wifi has worked for over a year on this laptop)....

Chosen Solution So I bought a replacement screen for my 1737. After replacing it I went to test, it lit up and started booting! SUCCESS!!!! But then it turned off immediately…. after trying the usual suspects, just as I was giving up hope, I had a thought. While it was powered, I reseated the cable to the power button. It started booting….. and turned off again…. strange. I reseated it again, and unplugged it right after the latop started booting…....

Chosen Solution I have a water damaged Iphone 5 board that I have cleaned with alcohol. The phone turns on and I am able to connect it to the laptop but the touchscreen does not work and the LCD does not display anything. The backlight turns on after I ran a microjumper from FL24 to pin 5 of J5 since the pad was ripped. The board is missing a C101 but I don’t think that should be an issue....
