Replaced the USB-C port with a new one and now it charges fine and everything works great except for the Nintendo docking station to output to HDTV. When I connect the Switch to the dock, it does receive a charge through it and the green light to indicate it’s outputting to an HDTV lights up, but no image or sound is produced on the TV....

I can’t shut it off, pull down the task bar, or receive calls or texts. I CAN take a screenshot, and scroll on the screen. It’s stuck on the web browser. Now my computer won’t even reach BIOS. My HDD, Disc Drive, and Front USB ports are all plugged in via SATA, and my disc drive, and front ports have power. Chosen Solution Mac from the title, no backlight in keyboard. I’ve checked settings, reset smc, the F5 and F6 is indicating the activity when pushed but the lights are not turning on. The connector for keyboard and lights are the same? Pretty sure they are different connectors. You can try re-seating the connector; it’s shown in Step 21 of this guide. It’s under warranty take it in. On any machine I start to have problems with in the first year I go ahead and get the extended warranty....
