Chosen Solution I have been trying to figure this out but can’t. The Mac is being quite unpredictable when it is powered on. I have removed the screen to get to the diagnostic LEDs and to change the internal battery. Basically, when power is plugged in LED 1 is lit up - that is the same no matter what. When the power button is pressed, some times LED 2 will flash on and off, sometimes it stays on for a few seconds and goes off and sometimes it stays on until I turn it off....

Chosen Solution My ibook G4 will turn on, only the fans spin and i can hear what sounds like the HD running. The screen is black and no chime. I tried cmd+opt+shift+power and turned off the computer, it restarted CHIMED once and was able to Target Mode… but it didn’t last, the drive ejected from iMac. If you have a HDMI port on the tablet, connect the tablet via the appropriate HDMI cable to a TV (or monitor) with a HDMI input and see what its display is like....
Chosen Solution I need some support advice for my 2009 Macbook Pro Core2 duo. After a while of not beeing used, but still connected to the charger, the computer would not start any more. The battery status is responding, all LEDs show green, fully charged. The charger connector shows the same, green LED on, battery fully charged. I tried the SMC resetting procedure, no effect.
