Chosen Solution I push the power button, get the start chime and the power is immediately turned off. Pushing the power button again will do nothing. If I unplug the device and plug it back in I can again get the start up chime but same result with immediate shut off. I have had the machine for a few years and it has worked well until this occurred, which may have been triggered by a power outage....

Chosen Solution PC hardware diagnostic tool/tester for PC that tells you yo your GPU is the issue or the power supply is blown. Something that gives you a clue when you dont’t have spare parts you can just swap out. Oh wow when you find this tool will you share it with us I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants one. A multi meter is helpful for power supplies, beep codes and lcd lights are nice, but the best diagnostic tool available is still for me google....
Chosen Solution My Phone got switched-off and tried charging but it was not charging. Later, repair center changed the battery (PRIMEX) and its got switched-on. But, If I put 100% charging and it is getting drained within 4 hours without usage. Also, phone is taking lot of time (close to 4-5 hours) to come to 100% charge. Chosen Solution I plugged my Skullcandy headphones into the audio jack of my keyboard in which they fit without trouble, and yet the sound output is still stereo. @oldturkey03, apologies for the belated reply. Yes, that was precisely the predicament I was in. However, since then, it has been resolved. I had simply plugged my headphone’s adapter in the wrong jack of my keyboard. @jingleperson if your keyboard still keeps playing through the speakers instead of the headphones, it is most likely the headphone jack that is at fault....

For instance, I could charge it for an hour and it’ll be 100% and as soon as I take it off the charger it would be on 70%. Chosen Solution I have the iFixit repair kit, and want to simply open the front panel to clean some dust that is trapped between the outer glass and the LCD. Is this doable without having to replace the adhesive? If so, how? You should be able to remove the digitizer if you follow the instructions here. Take your time and be gentle. Don’t lean on the digitizer while you pull, pry and whatnot as that can cause a pressure point....
Chosen Solution We were taking pictures at the beach and i accidentally dropped my wife’s S7 Edge in some wet sand. We rinsed it off in fresh water and let it dry as we always have even with my S8+ when i used it in salt water. Her S7 Edge started acting up a little bit with charging, it was on and off and would not stay charging. She thinks it may still have sand in the port but i cleaned it out thoroughly....

Ordered a new headphone/charging port piece. Swapped this and the screen, all went well. However now my phone stays in headphone output mode.
