Chosen Solution Bose AV321 I Series CD/DVD player no long works. I need to either get it replaced or find another console that is in great working condition, preferably remanufactured. Been watching EBay but of anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Chosen Solution How can I remove the hold down nails {to be replace with insulated screws[from the corrugated metal roof without damaging the metal roof? is there a nail puller that pulles straight up and not pried up. You may need to fashion a block of wood that conforms to the metal roof to spread the pressure of the hammer claw/crow bar base as you pry the nail. Chosen Solution I just fixed this phone and it comes on, looks great, but when I go to put the passcode in I notice I can’t press anything. The display works, but touch is not working. I don’t know what the problem is can anyone help? I would check the digitizer connection to insure it is properly seated, no debris and that all of the surrounding components are present. If that is good, then you probably have a defective replacement screen....

Chosen Solution I recently bought an iphone 6 plus from ebay with a smashed screen with the hope to replace the screen and use it. The smashed screen works, except from the touch doesnt, so I can see that the phone powers on as usual, battery holds charge etc. When I first replaced the screen, I got no reponse from the device, I thought I had damged something, but when replacing the original screen, it still powered on....

Chosen Solution I changed out my battery. I broke my fingerprint scanner cable and a piece of the wireless charger board. I planned to change then eventually. I continued battery replacement but once I finished the phone won’t boot up the software. The screen comes on with a failure to load. It won’t even load to tell me it’s charging. Chosen Solution On Google Drive, I would like to change my photos and pictures from always opening and saving as text files. How can I do this? Go to Settings –> Applications Which ever App is opening the photos up as text, go to it. The click “Clear Defaults”. You may need to do this for the browser and file manager that you use on your phone too. Then go back and download a photo again, you should be able to choose what to open it with again....

Chosen Solution Just cleaned the heat sync and reassembled the console but it (as it did before the cleaning) turns on, flashes a red dot, and the power supply light just turns orange again and it powers off. Chosen Solution my phone’s battery died when i was walking outside and when i tried to turn it on with the power button it did nothing it didn’t even showed me the dead battery sign. When i got home i plugged it in the charger and waited for a bit, after some time it looked like it would turn on, the screen became white with a black apple logo in the middle, after 3 secondes it turned off again and then it turned on again....

Chosen Solution After trying to replace a faulty battery I have managed to break 3 other parts. The front camera no longer wo6rks, its just a black screen. Power/lock button doesnt work at all. Part of the top of the screen is unresponsive. FIXED was one of the ribbon cables All worked fine before tonight Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Kyle If you had to prize the battery out after the glue tabs snapped then it’s a strong likely good that you’ve damaged the volume/power flex it’s very easy to do when removing the battery....

Chosen Solution So my grandma’s iPad 2 powers on and shows the Apple logo. As soon as it gets to the lock screen it flickers and shuts off the screen. But the screen still stays light but just doesn’t show image. I have a cell phone repair business but I am not 100% sure what this problem is. You don’t really say if this is following a repair (cracked screen?) or if the iPad just started doing this on its own (perhaps following a hard drop)....

Chosen Solution Guys: I have mac book pro i7, problem is dont remember password efi, and need reinstall lion, because install other hard drive. Thanks Remove one of your memory chips, reset the PRAM and SMC. The instructions for the resets are available on numerous threads here and on the Apple website. Put the removed memory chip back in and your should be good to go. If not try rEFIt. It helped me bypass my school’s firmware password....

Chosen Solution Opened console to clean and tried to remove fan plug from connector on board and removed the whole connector piece. One of the tiny metal legs were broken as well. Has anyone been able to fix this? @sky123 it will have to be re-soldered. The issue will now be, how badly the board got damaged and if the solder pads and and traces can still be used. We will have to see the damage....

Use your working battery to start the vehicle as described by George Abraham. Keep the discharged battery connected to the vehicle while using the working battery to boost the vehicle. Then run the vehicle for a while to ensure the old battery works....

It sounds like you have a bad optical drive which needs to be replaced. not necessarily. the same thing was happening to my cd drive. my lower case was bent to allow dust to enter the optical drive, so i took it upon myself to find the problem....

Ralph I have repaired more than one microwaveand find that it generally is not the magnetron tube that goes bad. What usually happens is simply a blown fuse....

Chosen Solution my gt-n8000 not inter recovry mode and not openig You will have to use download mode and use either odin with downloaded firmware to flash software onto the phone or restore via samsung kies. Note that restoring via samsung kies will wipe data. It’s power + home + volume up to boot recovery mode if you didn’t know.

Chosen Solution Is there an easy fix for the yellow and black ports/output jacks for the A/V cables? The problem with the ports has slowly worsened to the point where now I cannot get a picture at all on an outside monitor. (The cables themselves are NOT the problem.) @irollanalogtech post some good images of what ports you are looking at.
