Chosen Solution Do you have any spare parts for this unit or can you tell me where to find some? Hine Design has been sold to Brooks Automation (source: http://www.cutthroatconsulting.com/Hine_...). Given this is a specialized semiconductor process tool, I would contact Brooks (http://www.brooks.com/company/contact-us…) to see if they can help you get spare parts, or an engineering drawing so you can have spare parts made. It also appears that ebay has some parts for Hine Design wafer transfers....

Chosen Solution I purchased an aftermarket tachometer for my 1990 Geo Metro 3cyl because the car did not have one. The tach I bought (Link to Tachometer) is supposed to work for 3 cylinder engines. When I connected it up, set to 3cyl mode, it would jump all around from 5-8k rpm. I set the tach to 6cyl mode to see if it jumped around lower but it still jumped around 5-8k rpm at idle....

Check that board for any obvious damage like leaking or domed capacitors etc....

Chosen Solution Replaced the screen as per IFIXIT instructions. I need to enter phone PIN number on startup. I can only enter the digits 1, 2 and 3. The screen is unresponsive to anything below where these digits are displayed. I can’t select ‘cancel’, ‘delete’ or any other digit on the screen. I had to put the cracked screen back and everything on the old screen works apart from the cracked glass....

Hi @nytryder26 Just because the battery is not swollen, that doesn’t mean that it is not faulty or hasn’t failed. Try replacing the battery and then check. You need to start with a known good battery rather than trying to find a problem in a device with a battery which may have an unknown problem, still installed....
