Chosen Solution hello EWALD, I have the same problem. when I connect my laptop to the TV with an HDMI. sound comes from the laptop. I tried a different tv, different HDMI cable but still same problem. I even tried another laptop and it worked perfectly. when I go the Playback devices menu, the HDMI is not showing despite that Show disconnected devices and Show disabled devices are both checked. I hope you have an on what could be the problem....

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2014 15" rMBP. I had a memory fault recently that would cause the machine to reboot when certain addresses were used. I recently purchased a replacement logic board and installed it today. Everything went well, until I tested the audio and I realized that the left speaker was making a popping and hissing noise. A loud one at that. Convinced that I had somehow damaged the speaker in the installation process, I removed the new logic board and reinstalled the old one....
Chosen Solution After doing a screen replacement, the earpiece and front camera wont work. The proximity sensor still works. It’s most likely damaged when the phone was damaged, possibly during the install. You could take it apart and make sure all your connections are in place, and everything is where it’s supposed to be I’m having the same issue. Everything worked on my broken screen. Tried with a new flex cable front camera assembly and a new ear piece and it does the same thing....

Chosen Solution My macbook pro doesn’t recognize my HDD anymore, even though it works when plugged in though USB. I followed the instructions on here and got myself an SSD and a bootable USB. At first, it wouldn’t let me partition the SSD with it plugged in internally. So I partitioned it with another laptop and put it back in. Now the computer recognizes the SSD, but it wont install the OS....

Hi @matinr1 Here is a list of the “beep error codes” for your laptop. When you turn on the laptop, count the number of beeps. They will occur in a repeating fashion with a pause between each set, e.g a 4 beep error code will sound like, 4 beeps -pause-4 beeps pause etc....

From your short description I take it that your optical drive does not read any disk, Possibilities are your laser is either dirty or has failed. You could try a commercially available lens clean, i.e. Maxell makes a brushless / dry Blue-Ray/HD-DVD cleaner....
