Chosen Solution It was already in bad shape, not able to charge with power below 40-60%, which I figured was due to the charging port and the screen was cracked all over. So I change both and initially it would go as far as loading the OS but then reboot. Gradually it got worse til now I get as far as the T-Mobile splash screen before it reboots. Any ideas? New motherboard in order?...

I disassembled it and not sure what to do now? Hi @neclamchow, First thing to check if a device doesn’t turn on is to check the power board and see if there is power on the various power outputs of the power board....

I recently took my 8 plus in for repairs through my insurance company as the back glass shattered and i got it back today. Now i realized there is no true tone option anymore. My problem is that i can’t really remember if my phone didn’t have a true tone option prior to the repairs or if the option got removed after the repairs....

Cheers, Jin If the machine has power (heats, lights come on) but the pump doesn’t make a sound when either the coffee button is pressed or the steam knob is turned, then yes it’s possible the pump is completely dead. This is very rare though so I would make sure to check all the wiring and ensure the pump is getting power....
Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve a problem with my Wifi. i have no wlan. There is no wlan symbol top panel and the card won’t show in the Sytem profiler under Wifi. BUT the Bluetooth works fine…. I tryed to reset the PRAM and SMC. Also I formarted the hole hard drive and reinstall MacOSX…. No, I am not a wannabe repair technician trying to charge someone, this is my computer. Green light with battery connected turns orange then goes out after 20 seconds. Green light with no battery goes out after about 30 seconds. Disconnect Magsafe and reconnect, light on. If Magsafe is left connected and AC disconnected and reconnected, no green light....

After repeating this several times over a few days, it now begins the same way but in a short time it blinks and then goes dark. This could be a memory glitch . Holding a bad boot in the memory and booting off the same boot cycle. open the tablet and disconnect the battery then reconnect and reassemble and reboot ....

Chosen Solution My macbook’s main display has mostly horizontal pink lines that flash within certain fields on the screen that are otherwise normally white (browser windows, text fields, etc.) It happened spontaneously and without warning a week ago. The display was fine one minute, then suddenly the pink appeared. My external display that runs out from the laptop is unaffected. Also, applying pressure to the underside of the laptop (pressing in between where the two fans are) stops the issue on the main display....
Chosen Solution I replaced Power Flex Cable. Everything is connected and its all in one piece with zero rips. The Volume buttons and mute are working correctly. The headphone jack is working correctly. The connectors look great all intact. The only way I can get it to power off is by disconnecting battery. I can power it on by plugging it in and everything is functional except the power button. The power button clicks and feels normal....

Hi @sugerbea , I realize that it may be difficult but can you tell exactly which ones blink and which ones are steady, looking from left to right. Getting that information will help diagnose the problem as the sequence of which is flashing and which is on steady gives an error code which will help to point out the problem area....

Should any of those steps not clear up the problem, then I would think that your issue is related to the IC that controls image processing....
Chosen Solution My Motorola driod turbo shows “charging over USB " when I connect to my turbo charger. I tried many charges also ? The tension clips becomes depressed over a period of time go easy take a magnifying glass and proper tools gently lift up the pin in the charger\phone , be very careful while doing . The fast charges uses more pins than USB so one of the pins must be having issues....

It may look alright from the outside but it may be disconnected from the systemboard on the inside....
Chosen Solution I own a repair shop I have a 21.5 inch late 2012 iMac is running so slow it times out installation of OS, and is jumpy during navigation of installation media. New Ram old ram same issue, new SSD old HDD same issue, new thermal paste same issue, any ideas are much appreciated. I think the original problem was a bad HDD was causing a similar issue as the lagging and jumpiness, but after I installed the SSD I never reinstalled the LCD I only tested without it, so it seemed like it was the same issue but it was a sensor not plugged in....
