Happens to all of us. :-) The most likely cause is that cartridges are supposed to have a chip on the front (green and gold in the picture below) so that the printer can recognize them. Some aftermarket cartridges do not have those chips....

The battery, cable/charger or charge port may be faulty damaged. Look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue also look in the port for any bent pins and straighten very carefully with a tooth pick....

Sometimes (but not always) a bad inverter cable will be evident by moving the display assembly around. If the backlight flickers when you do this, it’s the inverter cable. If the backlight is consistently off, the only thing you can really do is swap out one part at a time (inverter, then cables)....

The owner prior to me did have the front and back pane replaced with a color scheme set. Whether or not there ever was a pressure contact in this phone I am unsure....

Chosen Solution A friend smashed his phone up pretty bad. Bent, broken front and back. Ordered OEM complete housing with components, and a screen. Pretty simple repair usually. Everything went well except bot neither microphone work at all (normal phone call or on speakerphone) no one can hear me on the other end. The test of the components seem to work find on each flex that shares the mic which is odd (camera, charger port, etc) which I would think eliminates the whole cable being bad....

Chosen Solution well i just got 5 phones… all without screen. 4x iphone 6, and 1x iphone 6s. all 16gb. so i have a broken test iphone 6 screen and a broken test iphone 6S screen. 2 of the iphone 6 worked without any problem and i was able to restore them. however the other 2 iphone 6 and the 1 iphone 6S doesnt work? so the iphone 6 problem: it doesnt turn on, nothing on screen and nothing detected on itunes....

Chosen Solution My optical superdrive seem to be louder than it was before when inserting and removing disks. It sounds really mechanical and when you compare it to a different macbook it seems quite loud. It is a late 2006 model - is this normal? Look at the drive slot - is it smiling at you? If so, then the noise is probably coming from the disc rubbing again the plastic of the case....
