Chosen Solution Hi all, after fixing one of the hinges of my Asus Zenbook UX303LA-R4342H, while trying to plug the display cable back into the mainboard, I accidentally let the display cable touch the mainboard. This lead to a small flash of light and it smelled burnt. (I still had the battery pluggged in.) Now the display backlight does not turn on anymore. If I shine a light through the back of the display I can see the Desktop and also with an external monitor everything works fine....

Chosen Solution I have tested all ram sticks and they are working fine. Is it a faulty MB or some other issue? Hi @subsea1984 , Since it works with any RAM module in slot A and not with RAM in slots A + B I suspect that either slot B has gone faulty or the CPU memory controller has gone faulty. Either way it is a motherboard problem. It’s strange that there are no “beep’ error codes indicating faulty RAM (you haven’t mentioned whether there are or not)....

Chosen Solution HDMI connections on the back of the Samsung 40" LCD TV LN40B610A5FXZC are not working. Try this Krystal: Disconnect all HDMI sources from the inputs. Unplug the power from TV/LCD for 10 minutes. Plug the TV/LCD back in. Connect the HDMI cable one device at a time. Turn on the device (ex. PS3). Repeat steps 4-5 for each HDMI port. Let me know if this doesn’t work and we will continue to troubleshoot your issue....

Chosen Solution So I have purchased a screen from Ifixit for the iPhone 5 which contained the repair kit. I’ve followed the guide throughly and have replaced most of the parts for the screen. Whilst putting the screen back on I’ve faced a major issue. One of the digitiser cables out of the three are vertical. I’m not sure whether this was an error on the manufacturing side. Chosen Solution I have the set of 5 Panasonic cordless phone. The problem I face is very strange. On some of the battery charging points, the phone shows charging on display but actually it’s not charging. What can be wrong? The battery charging point is Panasonic PNLC1050. It looks like that some of the battery charging points are not able to charge the phone (if charge is low), though the phone says charging on display....

Did you use the same home button cable that came with the old screen? You should use that home button and transfer to the new digitizer. If you damaged any small component chips on the home button cable assembly it can cause this exact issue....

Chosen Solution ok so i brought a iphone 5 and its said power button doesnt work, but i opened it moved the flex cable and everything i also unclipped the metal bracket and reattached it, then it worked for about 3 weeks perfectly but then it got harder and harder, for the phone to respond to the press so i would have to press it harder then it stoped working so dont know what to do about that....

Chosen Solution So my daughter spilled about 1/4 cup of coffee on my keyboard. While on panic mode trying to clean up the keyboard I accidentally unplugged the ac power cord. It does not have the battery since at home I usually use my laptop on the ac power. I worried more about the keyboard and cleaning so it “wouldn’t absorb” that I didn’t turn upside down right away. Chosen Solution My keyboard suddenly started coming up very tiny. I can’t find anything on settings or anywhere else to get it to go back like it was. In settings, go to Languages and input>virtual keyboard>preferences> then adjust the keyboard hight. If your keyboard is only taking up part of the normal area, there should be a button to make it full size, like an X or arrows going out. Hope this helps!...

Chosen Solution My Samsung tablet, which i have had for years has recently started not working. First off my tablet requires a manually written password to login after a restart, and the on-screen keyboard does not work anymore. This makes me unable to do practically anything. Furthermore a weird sort of Blackscreen has started appearing right after a restart and lasts for around 2 minutes. Appreciate any help! It says SM-T805 on the back, if that is of importance....
