Chosen Solution I have a vaio VGN-CR220E. My 3 year old kid was using headphones on the system, he might put the headphone forcefully or what but i noticed that now headphones plugged into this jack do not work at all, unless held at a certain angle, otherwise sound continues to come from the laptop speaker. Can you help me out fixing this problem? This sounds like the pcb board mounting inside the speaker jack has come loose because the headphones may have been ripped out at an odd angle, or too much force was used on them....

Chosen Solution Hello, First please forget my English, I’m French. My problem is that my iPhone 4s doesn’t find any wifi. I’ve tried to reset the network and wifi. I opened it and saw if the antenna was connected (it was). I bought a new wifi and Bluetooth antenna and changed the old one, but it still doesn’t work. I’ve no more idea. Please, it would be kind if someone could tell me what can I do to fix my problem....

Chosen Solution My macbook started being very slow and i checked the temperatures since they were high i followed a guied about replacing thermal paste i did it very carefully, but now my macbook won t turn on or even charge don t really know what to do. First thing to do, take it apart and re-assemble again, making sure every single cable is plugged in place, and that nothing is apparently damaged....

Chosen Solution I used my Samsung champ during a storm, then afterwards, my phone is not functioning well anymore, it always says that ‘connecting with PC’ and I can’t use it well. I tried to restart it several times but still, it always happen.please help me guys :( Sounds to me like some rain water got in there, and is at the very least shorting out a pin in the connector which leads the phone to believe it is being connected to a computer....

Chosen Solution So the charger of my phone (the wire) was cut in half and im seeing two wires inside. One black one white. I peeled the cover of black , connected it and covered it with electrical tape and i peeled the white and do the same thing. Now they are like separated again and then i covered both with electrical tape so it won’t look bad. It was weak and I was like kept doing it....

My opinion is that the green tint is from the digitizer layers coming apart (was previously blue tint rather than green, as it became more worn out it turned into a green tint) and that the pixel bars on the bottom is evident of LCD damage....

Chosen Solution I have a Surface Pro 3 that had a shattered display. I replace the LCD assembly but it doesn’t light up. I know the display, cable and shim/bridge are good because they work in another Pro 3. The display driver is the same as the one in the working Pro 3 and the unit is detecting the LCD because it shows in “Display Settings” when I plug into an HDMI monitor....

Chosen Solution I got a used iPhone SE with “broken cellular data but everything else fine”. It does seem fine, just some faded spots on the screen and cosmetic scuffs, and I thought the cell service fix would be easy. I swapped the cellular antenna (and loudspeaker) with the corresponding part from my functioning iPhone 5s, but this did not solve the issue. (In fact, the SE cellular antenna works great in my 5s, so I know it was not the antenna’s fault....

Chosen Solution I am working on a TV (Samsung UN46D6000) which does not turn on. To give a run down of everything so far: The TV was working fine until it was turned on one morning and would not respond. The standby light was off and the TV was unresponsive. Removing the header cable from the power supply to the mainboard caused the LEDs to turn on but they did not remain on....

Chosen Solution I have an old ladies hp pavillion 15 series laptop, it wouldnt restore to windows 8 or windows 10 even with a new hard drive. I installed a genuine windows 7 and every driver has gone in apart from the usb port, 5 days later, lots of drivers downloaded, lots of things tried including telephoning hp who need cash to TRY and assist me, its not usb 3, ive tried drivers for 7,8 and 10, please help!...

Chosen Solution Hi .. can someone help lol I normally connect my laptop to the TV via HDMI and a few weeks back after an update , it stopped doing that and would only do it through a wireless connection … I then got a samsung monitor for use with my xbox and I tried to connect laptop to that using HDMI (monitor does have DVI port) and it still isnt having it but in the settings , the monitor is listed so the laptop is recognising it somewhere … Any ideas without taking laptop back before the update that ASUS have advised me to do … ?...

Chosen Solution I have a customers iPhone 6 Plus. The device works perfect on the internet, sends text messages via regular text and iMessage. Sound plays find on speaker, siri works fine. But when I try a test call or any call at all the phone is very laggy after I hit the call button, or when I answer an incoming call. When it is connected it doesn’t transfer sound from either direction, Microphone / Speaker / Speakerphone do not seem to function, even though these individual parts are fine and working....

Chosen Solution So I was repairing a customers iPhone 5 and when I was testing the screen it powered on (noticed the front camera wasn’t connected all the way) so I turned it off plugged it in and tried to power it back on but it wouldn’t until I unpluged the front camera again What’s going on and what can I do to fix it? Probably the front camera assembly is faulty, could be ripped front camera flex cable....

Chosen Solution I’m unable to power on my Samsung J1. I have had trouble charging but that’s not the issue now. It’s like dead. I tried safe mode and the factory reset, I tried battery in and out, I have tried every option so far and still nothing. Paper clip in the holes, I’m now asking for your help. So if you were having trouble charging, then this is likely your problem you could try buying a new battery....

Chosen Solution Anything I do, safe mode or not it just shows a snowy/static screen, tried a different screen and hdmi cable. The hdmi port however looks perfect. Sometimes even if the port looks perfect there is still one pin that is messed up. If the port is, in fact, perfect then it could be a problem with the HDMI ic chip or even one of the capacitors, diodes or resistors on the motherboard....

Chosen Solution Hi, my problem is that I removed the power cable and the connecter on the mother board came off with the power cable. The metal bits connected to the power connecter have came off and I no longer have then. Is their anyway I could fix this? You could Take the connector off and solder both wires directly to the motherboard, orSalvage the metal bits of another connector(from scrap electronics), insert those pins into the holes on this connector, zolder the pins onto the motherboard (slide the plastic piece up), slide the plastic piece back down, and reconnect the needed components....
