Chosen Solution I got it secondhand, it isn’t damaged at all but apparently it was left uncharged for a little while and now it has the recovery mode screen. I’ve tried initiating recovery and I can only get past this screen like 1 in 5 tries, but even when I get past it and it says it’s in the process of recovering it, the progress bar fills less than a tenth of the way and won’t go further even if left for hours....
Chosen Solution Because I am new to repairing small electronics, I was bound to make a mistake just replacing my iPhone 7’s bent housing. This problem did not exist before replacing the housing, so I am wondering what is causing my phone to boot loop until either the battery completely drains itself out, force shutting down the phone via holding only the power button, or disconnecting the battery. My hypothesis that something went wrong to the logic board when connecting the flex cables for the screen, and that microsoldering may be the only way to fix the problem....
Chosen Solution I recently uninstalled Avast Antivirus and when I did it said my laptop needed to be restarted in order for uninstalling to be complete so I did. But my laptop kept on getting your PC needs to be restarted so after that’d be completed my laptop would boot up, the usual ASUS logo with the white circles with the words “preparing automatic repair” but then it’d blackscreen and would go back to PC needs to be restarted blue screen....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have dell Inspiron 3537 leptop [can’t find model in list above] my pc turns off after some time booting ,and don’t respond for some time, I tried cleaning dust and open ram cover for cool air enter and put external fan but same problem I tried stress test, ram test, on boot diagnostic, dell pc check software in all it passes all test , sometime it runs really good but next day after boot 15-20 min it turns off, bettry and aduptor seems fine,cpu fan works on normal speed or off, temp monitor shows temp under 65 degree on stress test I put cpu max process at 50%, but no solution....
Chosen Solution Hi! I purchased my MacBook pro 13" in July 2015, and just after the one year warranty,this incident happened. I had kept the MacBook for charging as only 4% battery was remaining. I switched off charging once it had remained there for about 20-25 minutes, as sometimes it happened that the indicator would be orange and it would keep showing battery 99% until u remove the plug. I tried to start the machine the next day, I heard the start-up chime and saw the progress bar, but hardly after 10-15%, the screen went blank....

After a big while like months I was curious if I let any important file on the phone but here’s the thing it doesnt turn on anymore. I was going to put it in for 8 minutes at about 350 Degrees BUT then I remebered the big metal part on it that acts as the power in and video out. Chosen Solution Where to get a new battery for the pi top Hi @bobby90000 , You may have to teardown the laptop to see what the specifications are for the batteries, that are already installed. Use the specifications (voltage, mAH, dimensions etc) printed on the batteries to search online for battery suppliers that suit you best. Here is the ifixit Pi-top Teardown guide which may be of some help. Send a mail to Pi-Top support, they gave me a new battery base for free....
Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.0 13 White A1181 2200, which I believe is late 2007. It stopped booting, now no boot, no beeps, black screen, can’t hear drives, nothing. I’ve tried troubleshooting per ifixit, as follows: Memory - removed memory, tried one stick at a time, swapped sticks between slots, no change. Power adapter - LED on MagSafe power connector is green. With a machine this old, I think the battery is probably dead, should it show orange, as in trying to charge the battery?...
Chosen Solution Cold water does come in with warm and hot settings as I turned my hot water value off to check. But no water with cold setting or no rinse water.So is it the water temp switch or the cold water value switch as I can get cold water in the machine, so I know the lines and pressure are fine. Please give me the model number so I can locate the fill switch that you need to replace....
Chosen Solution replaced disc drive but it will not play games. everything else works, films etc. Xbox 360 drives are “Married” to the motherboard that they originaly came with, and replacing the whole drive will leave you unable to play Xbox 360 game disks. In order to fix this, you need to either fix the original drive using parts from a drive of the same model, or “re-marry” the drives, which is much more complicated....

Chosen Solution I’ve made a low-cost SSD upgrade to a MacBook Air 11" Mid 2012 (MD224) from 128 GB factory default to 500 GB Samsung 850 Evo M.2 NGFF SSD in the past, using this cheap M.2 NGFF SSD to 18+8pin SSD Adapter. Works like charm and much, much cheaper than a genuine Apple SSD module. I’m trying to figure out if there’s such a low-cost SSD upgrade path using the PCIe slot in an iMac 21....

Chosen Solution Hi @crogamer_1 , When did you upgrade from Win 8.1 and did you update the Express cache driver as directed to by Asus on their support page? This is shown on the Asus driver page for your laptop. Select Win 10 as the OS and look under the Utilities > Show All. Don’t know if it is still relevant after 2015 though as Win 10 may have catered for it after that date....
