Chosen Solution Hey there! I’m on a Unibody A1342 MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.4 13" (Mid-2010) that I’ve modified with extra RAM, a new HDD, and a new battery. It’s been running on El Capitan for about a year, with no hardware changes or OSX changes. The fan started acting up as of late. I tried all the usual solutions: killing processes in Activity Monitor that could be overloading the CPU, reseting PRAM and SMC, even taking the back off and cleaning with compressed air and lubricating the fan axle, but to no avail....

Chosen Solution Just replaced my old battery with the one I purchased from you. Great and easy fix, loved your instructions. But here is the problem, even with the new battery my Ipod does not charge. Originally I had a block charger that overheated and even melted. I of course replaced it and hoped that replacing the battery would fix my problem. It works fine while it is plugged in either a block charger or my pc but it obviously does not charge my battery....

Chosen Solution Recently I’ve been having this problem with my LG VX5300, I have had it for 9 years now and it worked just fine until today when I turned it on and it suddenly just turned off again. I turned on the power several more times, when I closed the lid it just died. Is it time to replace the phone or just the battery. Oh and it is fully charged....

Chosen Solution dropped phone in toilet Phone needs opened and cleaned with ISO alcohol and a nee battery then assess if there is damage.. No guarentee it will work tho.. And for god sake don’t use rice it’s as good as doing nothing it ain’t magic

Chosen Solution Just a little while ago I got very upset and decided to throw my phone to the wood floor kinda hard. It had a little case that just covers the back and thats the part that hit the floor but when I picked it up, only half the screen was working, the other half showing vertical lines. I looked it up and decided to open the phone up because I had a Scanditech kit I used with my iPhone 5 and i opened the 6s up and disconnected and reconnected the cables and now the phone won’t even turn back on but it was recognized on iTunes but I can’t restore it because “i need to enter the password” but i can’t do that as you can probably tell....

Chosen Solution I have a fairly new iPhone 6S. About 1 month after buying the phone the power button stopped working. I already followed the iFixit guide to the point where I could unscrew the power button and check everything. I have not yet replaced the flex cable though, since the volume buttons and flash work perfectly. A second problem arises when calling: a lot of crackling noises to be heard through the earspeaker....

Chosen Solution What component used to be here (red circle in pic) and, where can I find another to replace it? It appears to be a small coil of wire that was originally soldered into the bracket in the previous picture. Really trying to avoid replacing the entire $300 Logic Board, if possible. Chosen Solution I have a 2016 that has no known damage, just one day would not boot up out of the blue. It turns on, fans spin up, caps light comes on, but no chime, no video on screen or through USB; touch bar does not light up. It shows about 19-20v on USB and will make the noise when connecting power. I have tried all the resets and disconnecting the battery overnight, no help there....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Mid 2010, Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, and two 1GB slots, each of which accepts a 1067 MHz DDR3 memory module. I know i can get more RAM but, Is it possible to upgrade my processor? Update (11/13/2018) Is it possible to adapt a MacBook Pro mid 2012 logic board (and other parts maybe) in this system? Sadly Apple’s laptops don’t have removable chips (thin laptops tend not to)....

Chosen Solution My P510 stopped turning on. Registered message batteries not charged and shut down. It was working normally; batteries (new Nikons in 2021) charged up fully as usual; last photos taken were perfect. GPS no longer works but Nikon says that there is no new firmware supporting that function in this camera. OK, so what is the question?? Camera won’t take charge but batteries are charged?????????????

Chosen Solution My computer was working fine just a little bit ago but then I’d noticed my Google Crome had crashed and wasn’t responding. So I just figured “oh well” and closed it down and then tried to reopen Google Crome. Well then for some reason Google Crome was refusing to open up, so I decided I should probably just restart my computer. To which I powered it off completely and then waited about a minute and then clicked the power button to turn it back on and my computer refused to turn back on....

Chosen Solution I have an ATT iPhone 5s that I have been using with T-Mobile since I switched a couple years ago. I have never had an issue with it until a couple months ago. Now when I try to stream sports talk audio from an app, it will cut in and out and most of the time it won’t work unless I turn off my cellular data and turn it back on....

Chosen Solution There is a red water damage indicator underneath the sim tray, is there any chips below the board that might be damaged? With water damage, you have to decontaminate the logic board before doing anything else, otherwise there will be latent issues down the road. Not every water-damaged phone is recoverable and depending on the kind of liquid (salty, dirty, filthy), sometimes the success rate is quite low. That said, IMHO, it’s always worth a try otherwise we are just piling up the e-waste....

Chosen Solution Purchased a new battery to replace my current Dell branded 97w battery. The replacement was easy, however the battery is not charging past 47% (first time) and left on over night 18 hours. I did reseat again with not luck. Also, upon removal I performed that CMOS “flea” power clear holding down the power after battery removed for about a minute. Also, thinking this battery might actually be just a little thicker than original a I’m not getting a true click motion on my touchpad....

Chosen Solution Howdy, Been having a few issues with my Note 4, it constantly self-reboots, overheats when charging and quick decline in battery afterwards. Battery is not warped, but the plastic cover on top was cracked and loose (dropped one too many times, maybe??) Anyhow after charging overnight, it had a red lcd light on and after removing battery and putting back in (which usually works) it didn’t power on. I went and got a new battery....

Chosen Solution Help. My Asus laptop wont turn on period. The screen will glitch and i cant get in to the BIOS. Anyway to fix it? First step is does your device have a power indicator Lots don’t. Have you tested the power cable on another device. usually tablet power connectors are mini or micro USB so you can try another phone cable on your tablet also it might not have as much power but it will trickle charge You say screen glitches if this only when power button is pressed would indicate low power Also check non of the USB or HDMI pins are touching on device will cause tablet to also cut out Sometimes simple things cause complicated problems

Chosen Solution I have been using the headset for a while now and one day it just stopped working. I randomly got an alert that says, “The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it”. My headset will connect to the receiver but the receiver wont connect to my PC. I know the issue is not with my PC because I tried connecting through the receiver to my laptop and got the same problem....
