Chosen Solution So basically I have bought a new gold housing of eBay for £15, it fits great and looks great. I put the motherboard in and put the screen on , but it only picks up 1 or 2 bars connection to my sim card, and it says failed to make call. The motherboard is not faulty at all, So I put all the parts back into my original housing and it instantly picks up full bars and makes a phone call straight away with no issues, The housing I bought of eBay is not genuine it is suppose to be a very good 3rd party part , As I said it looks it and feels it but I don’t think the connection is getting through the cheap material, Where can I buy a good housing what will not interfere with the connection?...
Chosen Solution I purchased a “new” macbook battery to replace the old swollen battery in my 2009 MacBook Pro 13in. The battery I received was rated for 5656mAh. I replaced the battery and used Coconut battery to diagnose the new one, and it said 5519mAh was the full charge capacity after 2 cycles. I figured it takes some time to get adjusted, however, after 5 cycles it has dropped to 4855mAh maximum capacity out of the 5770mAh manufactured capacity....

Chosen Solution I followed the guide to replace the Lightning connector. The ribbon cable (for charging the battery etc) seemed be almost impossible to snap-in. Must’ve been part of a bad lot! It just keeps popping back out. The original part’s (once removed from the iPhone) ribbon cable snaps in very easily. I think I may have applied too much pressure trying to get it in. Now when I power on the iPhone I see absolutely no indication that it is powered on....
Chosen Solution I can hear the icemaker “filling” sound, but no water comes through. I took a hair dryer and warmed the plastic tube where the water comes from and removed a cylinder of ice. Thought this would fix it. Nope. I have since put the arm in up position, and haven’t had ice for a week. Thanks for any answers. Of course when the arm is up, it thinks the ice bin is full and stops making ice....
Chosen Solution Hello good people! So far this site has just about got my out of the woods after almost losing my Macbook. Let’s just say my cat urinated on the keyboard.. And killed it. I disconnected everything, took all the internals out and cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Let the battery stay unplugged for a few days to let die whatever bad charge was in the system. Turned it on and hurray it is alive....

I can open it and chapter headings appear but I cannot open any of the stories as much as I click on them, only says create highlight, etc. All else works fine on my kindle, 2nd generation. Chosen Solution I was playing beat saber, my VR game, and my PC crashed. Previously the game crashed a couple times. I think it was my CPU OC. I was overclocked to 3.8ghz. But I was in good temps, and only 1.375 volts. Not too bad. Anways, im not completely sure but it crashed and went to the windows recovery ( or aka blue screen), while blasting a loud noise. Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 6s and the proximity sensor was not working and the touchscreen was unresponsive during calls. So I replaced the sensor assembly and tested the proximity sensor and it worked, but after a few minutes, the phone shut off and the phone above the SIM card got very hot.
